Thank you. My wife would probably advise you to read often to improve vocabulary. And I would add and say not only read, but read aloud. If you read aloud every day for a month you’ll notice a big difference. And if you do all this while also listening to audiobooks or tapes of people reading aloud, it may improve even more.

​@lynnellb I wanted to confirm if this because your licence is from St. Lucia or generally Alberta only requires your country's driving licence, regardless of the country. I will arriving Edmonton next month from Nigeria.

@@tsurajohn-wya1556No it is not specific to country. Any foreign license works fine. And if you’re a visitor or temporary resident you can drive for even longer. If PR then 90days in Alberta. Yes Nigeria license is accepted. I know someone who’s using one right now. You just have to take it easy and get used to the road system and study the road guide. The theory helps for road situations that you may not be familiar with.

We were told the abstract is more for insurance when you purchase your own vehicle. But even then we didn’t need that. I suspect it varies among insurance companies.
