Calm down guys its just a shirt hehe .......Before anyone else freaks out.....Yes I wear a shirt when I go to water parks lol. Im not a big lover of the sun so stay in the shade and when I go in the water I 50% of the time just leave my shirt on so I dont have to bother with lotion. Im actually probably smarter than most of the other people burning themselves :-D Love from Leigh.

We are DVC members and LOVE IT!!! Just remember you don't have to buy Copper Creek or Riveria. Any of the resorts are available...Saratoga is the best value in terms of point cost and due costs (which is why my sensible sister bought her points there this year). Our home resorts are Copper Creek and Polynesian. I have a slight regret that I didn't choose Bay Lake Tower...but no regrets on DVC in general, it's FABULOUS! Good luck and happy vacation!

Those Disney resorts look very nice, but I know they are oh, so expensive! If I were fabulously wealthy, I might think about staying at one, but it’s way out of my price range now. So I can only fantasize about what it might be like to stay in one.

We are DVC members - we absolutely love it - we even did a few videos on it, and being a member is probably how we conned Luke and Rich as well as Sarah/ThatSoundsFun into meeting us in May 2018 with our siren song to the Top of the World Lounge (videos in their and our channel)... BUT for most UKers, it really isn't worth it due to the lengths of trips you tend to take here - for Americans its very rare to take more than a week, so the points work out - but unless you are coming every year (or at the least every other year for the rest of your life), renting points is the better financial option - same benefits (including free parking) and you get the 11 month window to any DVC resort (opposed to me who only has that booking advantage for our home resort of Bay Lake Tower). It also isn't the buy in price that is the kicker, its the fees yearly that compound which triple/quadruple the expenditure... for the same price you can get a villa just for yourselves and still come out ahead and then stay for a few days/week renting points and do better in the long run. BUT, having said that, we don't regret being DVC members - we love it! One trip last year, three trips this year (one coming up in less than a month) and for us being farmers, it is prepaying for our vacations for the rest of our lives so we make sure we take them.

Haha. It's a big upfront cost but gives you a holiday in Disney each year for 50 years so works out cheap compared to paying Disney direct each year outside of dvc

I don't blame you for wearing a shirt. We are from UK and we wear UV swim tops as the sun is so strong in Florida. Us Brits aren't used to it lol! If I win the lottery tomorrow I will buy DVC points. Those copper creek villas are amazing!

We are DVC members and it was one of the best investments we ever made. The points are really versatile, we’ve been to Disneyland California and Paris as well as Florida. You can use them all over the world, but Florida is our fave! You also don’t have to use them every year. And no I do t work for Disney!

If you do it, buy the smallest number of points you can directly from Disney to get the benefits, then buy the rest through resale for a considerable savings.

Heheh smart cookie, we had already thought of that BUT, disney no longer allow you to use your second hand points in the new resorts built from January 2019, only the classic 14 so it makes them unappealing especially if you ever want to resell

Hey guys, just got back from our Spring holiday to New Mexico. First visit. Had a wonderful time. There are so many amazing places to discover in the World. Why not invest your money into exploring many other places. Don’t get me wrong, we are huge Disney freaks, but being tied down to a time share there seems like a chore really and very $$$$. Loved that you are enjoying Disney Springs. We stayed at a nice hotel near there and very close to the property. Check them out.

It's not my place to say but I'm going to anyway. If you want to sell the Westwood then that's up to you guys but I think you would be crazy to invest that money in Disney. With the whole world at your feet you could go somewhere new and exciting every year. I mean Disney is ok but I would hate battling the crowds every year as well as spending all that money on holidays that would get very samey.

We've also rented points out to people,the last guy rented nearly 300 points and it cost him around £2000 but if he had booked with Disney it would of been £10,000. The annual dues are a killer in January but we always find it
