Thank you! Well this sentence already includes inversion (verb and subject swap places) and a 'weil' clause, which gives you a complex structure and a complex sentence! So that's exactly the type of thing you want!

Hey Iam doing foundation German speaking quick question I have done no revision and I need. To pass. So we get to choose a theme question? And any tips like is there something I can write about no matter what the question is like pre plan

You choose a theme for 1 part of the general conversation, then the second part of the conversation will be a surprise theme (one of the two you didn't choose). Just choose whichever theme you feel most confident with at this point. Role play - keep it short and simple Photo card - extend your three bullet points - 3/4 parts to each bullet point, use because and give your opinion. General conversation - just try to extend your answers as much as you can - try to use three tenses. A couple of key structures you can always use: Es war das schrecklichste/beste Erlebnis meines Lebens - it was the worst/best experience of my life ...mit meinem Bruder der ... heiẞt / mit meiner Schwester die ... heiẞt (add that to anything you did/went to as a complex structure) Ich spiele Tennis um fit zu bleiben (probably something about health/freetime/sport and um..zu... is a nice complex structure but also short) Good luck!

General conversation is worth half the speaking - focus on that. Know your tenses - past, present and future, and also giving your opinion and saying why using words like "weil".

Use some key phrases that you can use across topics and impress the examiner. E.g. something you did, somewhere you went, etc. plus... mit meinem Bruder, der ... heiẞt/ mit meiner Schwester, die ... heiẞt You can use that in pretty much any question Opinion: es war das schrecklichste Erlebnis meines Lebens Good way to round off giving your opinion about something. Then try to use one example of past/present/future. And give your opinion and say why using 'weil' / 'obwohl' at least twice. That should be a quick win without too much revision.
