How to Get a House added to the National Registry of Historic Places

In April of 2023, I successfully completed the process of adding the Strevell House in Pontiac, Illinois, to the National Register of Historic Places. This video explains the process I used to get this added to the National Register. Hopefully, some of my Lessons Learned will help other people who want to add their houses or properties to the National Register.

Here is a link to the Powerpoint presentation I made which was showed to the 13 members of the Illinois State voting group.
