I have a question about the last tip, tip number 14. Would it be safe to assume that whatever the number given by the equation is what the answer should be? Like how 3x-y=12, and then you have a 2 to the 12th power there. So are all the questions like this, or was this more so a coincidence with how it worked out? I dont understand the concept of constants. I always get flustered there. What is a constant and what role does it play in an equation? And how is it different from a regular variable like x, y, a, ,b,c, etc.? How do you treat a constant? Are there different laws for it?
