Never intended on buying the 114060. Turned one down, sight unseen, in favor of a 214270. Still wanted a diver. Thought I’d go the BB58 route. Then had a 114060 offered to me by a local dealer. Once you see it in person and get it on your wrist, everything changes. Incredibly beautiful, tank of a watch. Ubiquitous? Sure. But one of the cool things about the 114060 is it flies a bit more under the radar without the cyclops. The “no date” dial is just so damn sleek and clean.

I own the 114060 and it is a great watch , The fit and finish is amazing . Some say its boring , some say the lugs are to big etc etc, but i have to agree with you , save your judgement until you try one on the wrist . Good video guys.

My AD had an open house event last month to show off their pre-owned section that they just started. I guess they had plenty of empty cases to fill them with. That’s when I got the submariner date. My rep told me to show up occasionally and go to their events (I think it’s part of the game to get the hard to get pieces). Tomorrow is their Christmas party 🎈 I’ll definitely be there-on the list for 3 different gmt’s fingers crossed 🤞. Enjoy the channel! Cheers

Krist Johnson it’s not really a conspiracy. This is a very common practice on watch forums and Facebook groups. How else could you get 15k for an 8k watch

Hi Chris. Tom here. Owner of Prize Watch. For the first comp, the tickets are ‘limited’ to 999. Do remember, the cost of setting up a slick website + backend + legals etc. In actual fact, we probably won’t be making ‘actual profit’ until the end of competition 3! Our aim is to build a community and the chance to win some amazing timepieces for small outlay and favourable odds.
