How to get a Taxi in IRAQ 🇮🇶

I am leaving Iraq but I have to trust this man to get me out of Mosul and into Erbil, Kurdistan. He spoke zero english but it was my only option, so ask yourself this....would you take this taxi? 🇮🇶

I am from Iraqi Kurdistan and I can tell you that the people honest and nice. There are places you should not go, but go to the bazaar, malls, popular restaurants and tourist spots and you will have a great time

the only other englishman i heard of getting a taxi in iraq was andy mcnab of the SAS during the first gulf war: According to the book "bravo two zero", at one stage, the SAS patrol evicted all occupants from a taxi and drove it until they reached an iraqi military checkpoint, where they shot and killed three iraqi soldiers.

I’m just sort of in disbelief that these guys actually lived under ISIS. I used to watch the Mosul war map every day to see the progress the Iraqi army made retaking the city. Was very happy when they finally took it all, lost a relative in 9/11 so I really dislike terrorism
