"a foreign country like that" what do you mean by "like that" exactly? FYI Iraq is much safer for women to walk through than a lot of other countries. It's safer for women to walk in Iraq than for example in Egypt, and that's a fact.

Hi Emma, I like your vlogs about Iraq; I went a few years back and intend to go in a few months. I wanted to ask in Baghdad for you to get a visa on arrival was it a smooth process? Did they ask to see a hotel booking and how many nights did you need? Where did you book your hotel before hand as they are very limited hotels online to book. I find it easier once in Iraq to book a hotel and cheaper. Also I liked the Baghdad mall video you took. Looked amazing
@WanderingEmma2 жыл бұрын
VOA is simple and no hotel booking was required in Baghdad… just a PCR / one way ticket and $77 for my Uk passport visa and most of Europe ! And many other countries 😊
@TawhidalItra2 жыл бұрын
@@WanderingEmma thanks for replying. Interesting so I guess I won’t worry too much about the hotel thing as I heard many conflicting things. Even the Iraqi embassy in London didn’t know their own rules! Lastly did u mean that u need a PCR test before you fly or they do one for u in the Baghdad airport upon arrival? Thanks 🙏
@WanderingEmma2 жыл бұрын
@@TawhidalItra you will need a PCR before you leave within 72hours of departure! Last month you needed a hotel booking in specific hotels but they stopped all that and I just arrived a few days ago 👍🏼
@TawhidalItra2 жыл бұрын
@@WanderingEmma yes that’s great news! Unfortunately due to the corruption they were making many confusing and unclear rules of apparently having to book a specific hotel on a list (which was no where located on any website) and some people when buying tickets, were even refused to board the flight without a hotel (I personally know some who had this issue). I previously went to Najaf airport but I will go to Baghdad and glad to know I won’t have this issue. I also asked Qatar airways a few weeks ago and they said a hotel is no longer is needed to board the flight from London

Great video, thank you.. but is it possible to fix the stability of the camera, maybe there is in the camera options ,Video stabilization refers to algorithms used to improve video quality by removing unwanted camera shakes and jitters due to hand jiggling and unintentional camera panning , camera shake is a problem

The man in minute 5 .. he was asking your taxi driver, from where did you find that woman? lol .. he was like.. she has been in Baghdad and Suliemaniah. OMG, you are famous now, everyone says hello/hi and wants to take selfies lol, people are happy, obviously they have not seen a foreigner since many years ago. The food in that restaurant called for (Lahem eb ajeen) which means (meat in dough), it's traditional meal, actually tasty and gives the right amount of calories that you need for the day. The "army uniform" that you saw is for the so called "The Federal Police force", they are more heavy equipped with weapons than normal police. You noticed that Mosul's streets are clean, that's true, actually, almost it's sad to say it, but the northern & western parts of Iraq they are more clean than middle and southern parts, this has nothing to do with any pre-judgment but it's the pure truth you may yourself seen.
