I just happened to watch your video and I'm grateful because at present I really intend to go to Australia and to learn the exact type of visa that I would have to secure. First it is informed that I'm asenior, a retiree aged 74 but still fit and physically fit ( I believe) to travel. Another background info about the nature of my visit is to meet another senior retiree . We are in a long distance relationship since November 2019. We should have met earlier as planned in 2020 but the outbreak if the pandemic simply aborted the plan. Now that he's ready to come here, but he was recently diagnosed to have cancer, hence he's now undergoing the necessary treatment. At this stage, time is of the essence taking into account that we aren't getting younger. He now want me to be the one to go there even if for a visit so at least we could meet. At this juncture, I wish to know the the type of visa to apply for, and the documentary requirements for said visa. I don't have the show money but my partner is willing to provide for my tickets, and my short stay with him. In view of this, we both would like to be advised how much money should be in his bank account. Secondly, can I prepare a health or it medical certificate and submit it together with my visa application? Do I need to present my own show money should my LDR partner already qualify to be my sponsor or shall I say, guarantor? Is a simple visit to a cancer-stricken loved one enough reason to get approved for a visa? Do I need to hire an immigration lawyer or a travel agent to facilitate my visa application? How much will it cost, ifever? Please help me

The documentary requirements for regular tourist visa is already mentioned but for seniors theres an additional requirement which is a travel insurance that should be attached with the application.

Meeting your sponsor is not a requirement for tourist visa. You will be assessed on your own merits - OFWs with good records usually get a tourist visa BUT of course as I have said in the video -- you will need to address more criteria. Cheers!

When you applied for the visa, usually you will get a feedback from the immigration that they received you application already and they will indicate there how many months you will expect the result of your application.

That is the normal procedure. Well, from what I know. The last time we applied for a visitor visa is 2019, just a 3 months stay as usual and I got it approved for only less than a week. Hello po, ask ko lang kung nag poprocess ba ang Australia ngayon ng mga Visa sa Visitor? (VISA SUBCLASS 600 VISITOR/TOURIST VISA) not sure kase may nababasa ako sa iba na hndi daw pwede mga visitor visa ngayon. yung mga family or important visa lang daw ang pinaprocess nila ngayon? no idea. thankyou sa sasagot
