Dear Madam, I am Santosh of India. I have over 6 years of experience in electronic security systems as a technician and education qualification. I opted for a job at a Sydney employer who was willing to sponsor a visa but wanted to know what kind of visa and how I can obtain a security license to work. With a sponsor work visa I can get a Security License to work. Security License from Service NSW. Employer question : In Australia and Sydney we require technicians with a security license. Why does TSS require 2 years prior experience even for Australian graduates? If you come here for BA and take 485 it's still not likely to accumulate 2 years experience. Too bad Australian education doesn't reduce the work experience requirement a little.

My brother was a graduate of BS in Mechanical Engineer. He’s been working atleast 3 years and had his license in the Philippines. We wanted to have him go to Australia as a skilled worker. But one thing that discourage us is his English skills. We had a word that he can get work visa but his IELTS has to be 7 OR go there as a student visa (which we don’t really prefer)

186 has 3 different pathways. if you are coming from TSS482, you need at least 3 years to have worked with your nominating employer. alternatively- u can try direct entry pathway too.
