4:44 No. Going to a Barber every 3-4 weeks to cut "split ends" will significantly slow down your hair length goal. Unless you intentionally make your hair split due to poor care, your hair won't split in just 3-4 weeks. Heck. I have not had any split ends and never had any haircut for nearly 6 months now.

Yes, you can grow it out and then get this hairstyle but the best way is to cut all the hair in the recommended lengths and then start growing. This way you have better control on your hairstyle and where you wanna let them go
