Go face the stone vanguard first then craft his armor set and get pluck of many, I personally got stomped by the tiger like over 100 times until I took a break to fight the stone vanguard and went back with the better armor set, I didn’t even end up using pluck of many but it is super helpful

You can also use transformation to break the wall. The big headed monster thing. I didn't have Wandering wight so tried that and it worked.

Edit: Finally beaten him. For people who are struggling cause this game is really hard, i’ve learned that the best way to overcome bosses is to go around and make sure to loot ever single boxes, collect plants, and craft medicines and armor. Also there are so many hidden places in each parts and location that can lead you to other bosses, they can either be easy or hard depending on the boss. I hated how I sucked at the beginning and now I finally can say I am Pro! 😎

I beat Yellow Wind Sage using the first staff because my son changed the staff, i didnt even noticed it, just when i am facing the dragon at chapter 3. I was wondering why am i getting very small damage. LOL

Rat sage better , 66 atk + 6% crit , Loogwreathe just 70. But if you at chap 3 , Kang-Jin Staff is Fun, it have thunder damage :)

But to complete the secret quest, you have to defeat chapter 2 boss, right? Only then another area unlocks which we can go to defeat another tiger vanguard to complete the secret quest. So, isn’t it impossible to get the refined iron sands before chapter 2?
