To be fair, G-Max Dreadnaw is useless in raid battles compared to regular Drednaw as G-Max's Drednaw's G-Max move makes it so water type attacks does stealth rock as a secondary effect instead of rain dance. Stealth rock is only good against trainers with more than one Pokemon, not Raid Battles.

There’s a bonus way to get Gigantamax Charizard. When you beat the main story, go to Leon’s room in Hop’s house. Leon left you a Charmander. When you evolve into it into Charizard, it will have the ability to Gigantamax.

Side note: if you use the day skip method and are also using the rotomi to do ev seminars, do not do it on a day that rolls the month back over to the first. It glitched my game out.

@@HelloImKy so when you have the EV training seminars at the end of the game after you become champion, you can use the day skip method here to get those seminars done in just a few minutes instead of the full 24 hours. the way I do this method is I stay in one month and just keep continuously changing the day. So when I got to the end of the month in the calendar and rolls the date from October 31st to October 1st it glitched out my game. I was doing the EV seminars to train my competitive dreepy and it glitched saying there was -8 hrs left and wouldn't give me my dreepy back.

Hey folks! Here's some advice! Do not worry about the mystery gift Meowth or the Let's Go Gmax Pikachu/Eevee. If you,have the Isle of Armor DLC, or know someone who does, you,can get them to collect Max Mushrooms and talk to the NPC in the Master Dojo's kitchen. They will offer a thing called Max Soup and you will select a Pokemon capable of Gigantamaxing, even Meowth, Eevee, and Pikachu.

They should’ve done something better with the Kanto starters, like if you have Pokémon shield you have Leon with a charizard but if you have sword you get Leon with a blastoise. And instead of getting a charmander at the end of the game you can get a squirtle. It would be a good excuse to give blastoise a gigantamax form. Venasaur would be obtainable in a den in both games to so we don’t leave none of them out.

Gigantamaxing is only available for that one specific grimmsnarl wether or not it is inheritable through breeding is curently unknown (?) at least for me I haven't neither found public info on the matter or tried it for myself (yet) I can't make any promises but if I do find out I'll update my comment

I wanted a G-Max Lapras but I am playing the Sword version, I tried looking for Max Raid Battles online for one, but most of them have Link codes, I hate those because I don't even know what the Link code is. The other issue that annoys me the most is the communication error. I even can't get a G-Max Lapras through trade. What are Watts anyway, and how do you even get them?

Watts are like another form of currency and there are a couple of ways to get them. One way to get watts is by checking the raid dens that are red. If they are empty they usually contain 200 watts, but if there is a raid Pokémon inside, it usually gives 2,000 watts. Another way to get watts is by fainting or capturing “Brilliant Pokémon”.

I find it annoying how convoluted finding Gigantamax Pokemon are coupled with their abysmal catch rates. They really should have introduced a way to make compatible Pokemon into Gigantamax after that fact with some sort of item, maybe locked behind the after game in the Battle Tower, maybe make the item 100BP or more, so Raids will still be easier but grinding for the rare one you want is totally possible.

Wolf Blade was it your raid, if it was it should be pretty high chance for you to catch it but if it wasn’t then it should only be a 40% or 50% catch rate

I accidentally made a mistake when doing gigantamax raid battles do it offline as the catch rate is extremely high but if you do it online and it is not your raid it is a 1 in 15 chance to catch

Just so you know, the beam does not have to be purple. I caught countless Gigantamax’s and there were all red.

Yes but they are not the alternative art versions of the Pokémon that have increased stats they are just normal ones without the fancy style

It has to be purple because as the video said purple = “RARE” and g-max pokemon, and Charizard is hard to find in games further than gen 1 so charizard is counted as rare in generations today.

well the allies will be level 70 if you bring a level 100 pokemon yourself, and there's pokemon like Zacian and Eternatus that can just rip holes in max raids with Behemoth Blade and Dynamax Cannon (Zamazenta isn't mentioned since it's more defensive)

So, big misconception: red beams you can get G-max Pokémon (got g-max Butterfree and Corviknight through red beam) but they won’t be as good/strong as the purple beam variants.
