How To Get All World Buffs Before a Raid In Vanilla! (Dire Maul, ZG Heart, Ony Head, Songflower)

Horde Guide -> DM Buffs -> Get to ZG Island and drop heart -> Portto Orgimmar drop Warchiefs Blessing and Ony Head -> Fly to Felwood get Songflower -> Hearth to Kargath . Additionally if Darkmoon fairy is in TB you do that as well after Songflower. If its in Elywnn you get ZG Buff and then run up and get that as well.

If its in Elwynn why not fly to swamp or blasted lands and put the Cerebral Cortex in your buff rotation and add 25 intel.

This is not a common thing at all. Some guilds, that I would consider hardcore or tryhards if you want, do this kind of thing to either A) speedrun or B) get like a crazy push on some progression boss. If you mean this is common, then you must be playing on a server with only tryhards or hardcore guilds.

I do it differently, I'm on Elysium for the last year - didnt go classic. 1st Dire Maul cause they're relatively easy to get should u die in the world. 2nd move yourself with dmt buffs to zg isle or bb. 3rd take portal to org or darna and fly to felwood for flower & take it. 4th portal to SW or Org for ony, rend, nef 5 hs to nearest inn to whatever raid u go, if ally and u go mc or bwl if and fly and move in as a group. 6 lose it all on first trash pack :D

playing on classic, this strat would be an almost certain way to lose buffs. too many dispellers in BB. I suggest ZG 1st then DM buffs (goblin engie tele or portal to darn) -> songflower -> ony head.

i love classic, but i really can't stand this aspect of it, world buffs are such a pain in the ass to anyone who has a full time job or a kid to look after during the day. It's great for hardcore or people with no commitments, but some guilds/pugs just wont allow you in without these buffs and its entirely unfair to the casual player base, or just the player base who no fault of their own have less time. Not to mention being unable to play your char till raid, i leveled my char for a reason, because i enjoy playing it, not logging just for raid

Pretty sure most casual guilds just want Rallying which is easy to get and usually timed right before raid, some consumes etc. but yeah if you want to do your best the whole meta around raid buffs is.. horrid.

These days i just get the head and the heart buff. Gives most of the benefits of having world buffs, cannot be purged and takes like 10 minutes to get if you just log in at the right time. And if your guild is smart, they have made the raid start right after that. On most servers the "head/heart pop" time is some hour like 19:00, 20:00 or 18:00 where most guilds have agreed to have both head and the heart popped, heart 10 minutes after the head, so people have time to fly from SW to BB/Westfall and then run to the island

This is mostly for farm tho, when there is little risk of wiping and losing them. besides. the ony head and hakkar head only take a few min. getting atleast those is very worthwhile to speed up the 126th mc run

Cant believe how many stupid people are commenting here... first of all: ALL of these buffs are disabled inside new raids for a period of 4 weeks or so. This is done because you could get ambushed by another guild entering lets say BWL. Wich indirectly determines who gets world first by wich guild is the better to drop sappers on the other guilds. Secondly, after the period of 4 weeks and the buffs are enabled to work inside the raid, having every raid member get these buffs are way more useful than you think. No matter if your guild clears BWL on the first day of release or maybe spends 4 weeks on killing a few of the bosses. Having all of this will help you no matter what, more buffs, the less consumes required, the less stress on your gimped economic situation etc. Also if you plan to raid in a guild wich is considered even somewhat good, expect to get all of these buffs every raid.

Im surprised to see so many negative comments on a channel like executus wich is considered a pretty min max guy by my standards. If you dont like killing bosses and spending WAY WAY more gold on consumes than what you really want then go ahead and never get these buffs. Thatsa a bigger waste of time having to farm gold again so you can pop your consumes again for next raid.

@@ExecutusGaming unique in what way exactly? the thing is, you don't even have to do these for vanilla raids, except maybe progress ones, but you're left with that salty feeling like: "what if i had those buffs? what kind of damage would i do with them?" and the same goes for if you wipe on a boss that's left with like 1-3% or if he manages to kill a tank that didn't have those buffs. anyway, once you get them, first you're forced to logout and remain logged out to preserve them until it's the time to go. after you log back in and it's time to go, pray to god that you don't encounter any priests on the way or some die hard pvpers, because you're gonna curse everything and everyone as you need to do those things all over again, not mention wiping on first bosses, accidentally dying when jumping or wiping on trash even... you're either feeling a constant paranoia that somebody will dispel them or ambush you into death or feeling what it would be like if you only had those. it was a frustrating experience that drove all my friends and myself away from vanilla raiding. it's a bad game design and there's no defending it. i would probably agree with you if those buffs lasted for 4+ hours (1 full raid), were undispellable and persisted through death, even if they'd be a bit weaker. but being like this, it's you either love it or hate it and for the vast majority of people it's the latter.
