The reason why the wizards won't spawn for some people is because you didn't complete every overthrow. Go back and complete an overthrow you missed and once you finish the last one then the wizard will spawn in that corresponding area.

My dungeon speedrun partner and I greatly loved this mission. Hits the perfect stride of easy content with mechanics. Provides a decent rewards at the end while beeing a small time commitment. A secret mission that isnt force down your throat. It didnt feel like your standard exotic rotator, Its legit a dungeon. People need to stop complaining and enjoy the content at face value. As someone who had to take a break around Witch Queen despite playing from D1 beta. Bungie seems to be hitting a little stride. Most additions since Into the Light have genuinely been some of the great qol updates seen.

My friend & I discovered that because we hadn’t done in Overthrow in Impass yet, the extra bosses in the other 2 areas would not appear after completing Overthrows in those areas. You MUST complete Overthrow in all 3 areas at least once before doing this. When we did Overthrow in Impass that first time, the extra boss did appear, then the other 2 appeared in each of the other locations after completing Overthrow again.

Small correction. If BOTH people are prismatic, the fire team leader will always be light alligned, and the other person always dark. Took a few attempts with a huddy and while we were trying to figure out why we couldnt see the symbols we needed in the first enounter zone, we swapped a few times, and figured that out.

As far as the miniboss not spawning after overthrow, this happened to me specifically in the blooming. Went to the impasse and it worked there so i decided to do the blooming last and that worked as well. Seems like the blooming might have to be the last one you do.

I think the special bosses after you complete an overthrow won't spawn if you haven't completed a tier 4 overthrow in all 3 areas (landing, blooming & impasse). They weren't spawning for me until I went and did all 3 and then they started spawning

I wasn't getting the witches to spawn, so I just started completing all Overthrow bosses for the motes of light, and after killing my EIGHTH boss, Savathun finally laughed at me and I was able to find my first witch. I went to the other to locations, did another overthrow in each, and killed my final witch. I even did the two orbs solo to unlock the flag, and the mission node stayed on my map, so now I can launch whenever, though I've heard that the other person also has to have the node unlocked in order to launch the mission.

Hey Datto, If anyone is not getting the wizards to spawn it is likely because they have not done each of the overthrows 1 time prior to trying to get the wizards to spawn. So essentially each overthrow needs to be done 2 times. Do all 3 for first time completion, do each again to spawn wizard.

Little tip that helped me on my first run, at the beginning of mission as soon as you come out the cave there is a crystal in a hole in the wall that gave me extra time at the very end (what I mean is we had 0 seconds left and savathun laughed and gave us 2mins and 30secs) which quite literally lets us beat the bosses afterwards

More than half the community will never get this and they marketed it as an integral part of Prismatic. It was really fun. I am mainly a solo player but all I had to do was request a chill and patient player and we got it done first try. It was super fun. My only complaint that last clock puzzle is super duper quick. It can be a bit hard to keep up with it.

I was confused by your explanation of the numbers. An alternative that I think makes more sense (at least to me) is to have one person call out their numbers that are lit, and the other one sees which ones that are called out are also lit on their side. The second person says the ones that are lit on both sides.

I think that sometimes they go too far with their puzzles. I wish I could enjoy Zero Hour, but I utterly despise that mission. Take away the timer and I might have the ability to enjoy it. Allow me to kill Trevor and I will absolutely love it

@@Johnston212Zero Hour is fine, the timer in this mission though is not so fine, since it has raid mechanics due to the timer, if you remove the timer then it acts as any other exotic mission just more special which is what i think they were trying to do

Heads up! I'd highly reccomend NOT farming world chests for these, if you were planning it. I opened and tracked about 238 chests (40 triage, 198 random world chests) and got 5. If triage chests are found to not drop the class item. The odds look like about 1/40, and with them it's about 1/50. This is to say: unless you physically cannot play the mission again, don't farm chests. I'm unsure about overthrow or lost sectors, but I can't imagine they have different rates Very quick edit, it should be noted that 5 class items this way is not a lot, and therefore the odds could still be a lil iffy. I plan on getting at least 5 more before making a more sound statement, but this is just what I have so far

Only thing that I've seen that I dislike is that it is yet ANOTHER timer mission. Why cant we just get a cool exotic mission where we don't need to feel constant pressure. I'm sure some people enjoy that extra push but for me it triggers my anxiety. But it also doesn't help that so many people in LFG are toxic as all get out and I don't really want to get yelled at lol.

I get where you're coming from, i i think they want a degree of mastery shown for successful mission completions. Any mission without a timer is beatable with enough bodies, even dungeons/raids, but putting a timer makes it to where you have to execute to some degree

Just slow down, I promise. The timer gives you more than enough time to make mistakes, and if you do one encounter first try, you can do the next with the leftover time +10 mins

Man, I was so excited for this DLC. Here comes the unbelievable grind. From getting the fragments to this exotic mission. Everything is complicated and boring. Solo players will drop destiny quickly again. I've already given up.

Now this was a hella 2 man event- took forever to find someone sense in a solo player and bungie doesn’t offer pale heart exotic quest in the LFG and we can’t name our own fireteam anymore so yeah hardest part was getting a 2nd!

Dual Destiny is in fact in the LFG. You need to unlock it by doing the secret overthrow stuff first before it will appear, but as soon as the mission banner appears, you can LGF for it.

Me and a LFG random figured it out mostly from zero but there WERE times I had to pull up a guide bc I was definitely missing something. We didn't beat it bc the final encounter threw us for a loop but we will attempt again tomorrow :)

Same, completed overthrow 4 times before the secret boss decided to spawn in. That was only 1 of them, I'm hoping that doesn't repeat with the other 2.

The biggest issue I have with the mission is BEING FUCKING TIMED!!!!!!! I’m so over being timed. I hate being rushed. It makes me make dumb mistakes because I’m more worried about the time than I am about the activity. I just want to play the game.

After I did it once and learned the puzzles and encounters, I had a whopping 29 minutes left when in final boss room on my 2nd run through, this timer is not bad in the slightest. I get where you're coming from on the making mistakes when rushed tho, definitely have that issue irl sometimes. But this timer can be extended by so much(see my above time) to the point where you can walk away, make a sandwich AND eat it and still have more than enough time to kill the bosses.

Just slow down, man. It's 10 mins per section and they stack on each other. Where are you making these mistakes? I thought the encounters were pretty straightforward in callouts and intuitively. I'm sure in the future there'll be a lot of people happy to help, but it helps to have designated callouts for the symbols, and just relax on the rest. Truthfully, the timer allows you at least 10 mistakes an area

Once you learn the patterns you can speed through it really quickly. I failed. Few times learning it but once I did I completed the mission with like 15 minutes to spare

This is actually the only one that continues to add time to the players so it’s actually more forgiving then any other one we have had to this point. In my opinion the zero hour mission was way more challenging regardless of how many times you ran it. This one is easy once you pass the learning curve.

Why dont they make these things for solo players? The toxicity of Destiny 2 is horrendus if you are not elite at everything immediately. Hiding a piece of content behind finding another person is really disappointing. I think a lot of people will miss out on this because of the poor decision-making by Bungie here.

Hard disagree. Designing a mission to be done by more than one person isn't toxic at all. It's a cooperative game, you are meant to play and interact with others. That includes some things being gated by having others with you. What you are saying is equivalent to saying why aren't raids soloable and calling the game toxic for that. I mostly play solo myself, but when I want to go get something that requires more than one person to do, I go find a person. It's not that hard.

It should be like dungeons, which are able to be soloed with skill. Content like raids is made for teams, which is fine, and it is the least accessed content as a result by the numbers. Make the new missions solvable, which is all I'm saying. Don't force me to interact with people.

@CHECHNYANFISH No, you're acting like a toxic player when you say things like " It's not that hard" Never in Destiny history has the game forced me to do something with 1 other person that I couldn't do solo, including d1. They advertised exotic class items and their huge impact, and now, to force the content behind co-op is unfair. Raids should be the only content that is team based as it is the highest level end game content . Everything else should be able to be soloed with scaling difficulty if you have a higher fireteam member count.

And if you still don't want to team up with somebody to get the mission done, then don't. If you're a solo player only like you said, then you have plenty of content that you won't be able to do. This is just one more at that point. Or you know, you could put on your big person pants and get over yourself and actually play with someone else.

You have 6 people to do raids, so you have two teams of three to go through the campaign together, and then three teams of two to do the exotic mission together. I agree that it's inconsistent for groups that are made of odd numbers of players, but I do appreciate that they've actually created something new for once.

About the secret keepers not spawning: it is a known bug to bungie I think they're working on it. But for now the way to tell quickly if it's there or not is to wait a couple seconds (or maybe check while you start to make your way to it) after completing the overthrow, something about "A Secret-Keeper of The Witch Queen is nearby" will pop up in the kill feed. As far as I can tell, every time the text pops up, the boss spawns in correctly.
