Good advice. Tip 7 was really relevant to me because I have a solid authentic social media following but hadn't built a website yet. I do have my domain name registered so that's a big start I guess. So a good and growing IG account doesn't count for much on application?? Yes, the proper mindset is important, especially when you know you're going to be making videos promoting products that might sell, and still might not get approved at the end of 180 days. My guess is that it all comes down to really wanting to help the community and really enjoying whatever you're doing.

I am confused. When you apply for Amazon Associates, they will approve the application. However, you are not really in the program until you make 3 qualifying sales with 6 months. If you do not make these sales, then you are NOT in the program. Looking at this video it looks like he is saying the initial application can be denied. My application was approved a few days ago & my website was not finished yet.

I had a site advertising amazon affiliate links and had started making money, however for another site I was building i need an amazon API, so i applied for one and ended u getting me affiliate account closed , lost out on the money in my account and had to setu a new account and redo all my linking. I found of the reason i got booted out was because I didn't have it clear that i was an Amazon affiliate. Made the neccesary changes , applied again and got refused again based on off "We regret to inform you that we are unable to accept your request for access to the Product Advertising API. We have reviewed your site and found the following issues that prevent us from approving your account for access: While reviewing your request, we see that you did not include a valid business justification that explained your intended use of the Product Advertising API" What business justification have worked for you?

There is one thing I am confused about. Before being reviewed or accepted, what should your content look like? Should you already be linking to Amazon, even though you're not an affiliate or making a disclaimer about being an affiliate when you haven't even been accepted? I think I can answer the last part in that you wouldn't be making a disclaimer since you're not an affiliate yet...but should I already be linking Amazon? Then change the links later to an affiliate one after being accepted?

You get access to the links as soon as you apply. After 3 sales they check your site. So add links and disclaimer and create site as if you were approved. 🤩

I got rejected twice with pending orders!! My last account i got 159 clicks in 1 month and 13 orders, 6 pending... $9+ but i didn't receive any of that.. i add my personal Facebook account where i advertise, i got 5k people on there with 180 followers and i also added my personal Facebook group where i only post Amazon items it got like 70 members..am still trying to grow it, i saw other groups with as much as 90k+ members etc...is there something am.not doing right??

Recent email from Amazon. Once you have generated three qualifying sales, our team will review the web site (s). Amazon have gone crazy and put many of us in a catch 22. I used to have keys but lost them and now have to reapply. You videos are very helpful and insightful but the above is not something we can work with or get around, We cannot produce sales before the site is fully live.

I think you missed the mark with the title of the video and your 8 tips. Your tips are for building a KZbin channel not "how to get approved by Amazon Affiliate program".... Maybe if you talked about what Amazon requires a channel to have in order to be approved, such as How many subscriptions, how many views, how many likes, how many videos etc.
