If you have a chapter 7 they will deny deny deny. You need to let the 10 years run. When the BK drops off and the score pops up then they'll want your business. Assuming you still care at that point.

One of the better ways to get approved is to open a Checking/Savings account with whichever bank you're trying to open a card with. This is a major factor on how I was able to get a CSR, even with below 650 credit score.

Got approved for a CSP with 16k limit. Was shocked because I have a CFU with a large balance on it! However I do bank with Chase so maybe that helped me. I was pre-approved by them.

Banks *like* people who have a large balance. They think they're going to get paid interest. As long as they believe you have income to pay the monthly minimum.

So I got a question, I am kind. of new to credit since my credit history is not so long, however the question is. If you pay all the balances your credit score obviously will sky rocket, when it will be good time to apply for a new CC, I mean should you wait out or bank will look only on your current credit score. If like now as all card maxed out is 610 and you pay all will be 730 will it be good to apply or wait a month or 2

Normally u should wait 6 months buuuuuut sometimes credit card companies will let u getaway with doing it in 2 to 3 months but what I did was apply for 2 chase credit cards at the same time n I got both of the chase credit cards that I wanted 🤣🤣🤣

Nah don’t open any more accounts focus on raising your score, establishing good credit history and etc then apply for higher tier cards suitable to your lifestyle

They have the reputation for having the best rewards points currency ("Ultimate Rewards" or UR). You can book travel on their portal at 1.25 per point instead of 1:1, and their rewards are easily transferred to airlines and hotels at a high premium, so you can greatly increase the value you get from your points. They also let you move points between cards so you can earn points on your Freedom Unlimited (for example) and transfer them to your Sapphire card to be able to use them for travel. Most other companies don't let you do that.
