Thanks Chesstalk Here is my answer. Qe5, Kg8, Pe6×Pf7-check, Now king have 2 options either it should take pawn or move to f8. If it takes pawn, then rd7 check, bishop captures rook, then qe5×qc3 If king decides to move to f8, then qh8 check and now there is no other option black king should capture pawn and then rd7 check, b×r and q×q. We can simply take queen directly by placing d4 to f8 but after white queen captures black queen, there is a chance of continuous check starting with rg5 to g7 check with the support of bishop and then rook from f8 joins the party. To avoid this, check with pawn is required. So that bishop moved from it place and rook at c8 will be stopped by it's own pawn at c4. Please let me know whether it is correct.

I'm new to your channel, just looked at your challenge puzzle. I did not scour for another video of yours with the answer nor check the comments section. I am not a rated player, but out of the blue decided to start getting back into chess. I think Rg1 is the best move. If black moves c8 to reinforce, white still has the pawn threat. To me, it doesn't seem like black has a strong stance to play check games with their queen to delay the rook threat. I think Black would have to move the rook to g5, which lets white follow up Qe5, pf6, then Qxf6 checkmate.

That retry mistakes feature if it works would really be beneficial. Intuition trainer is also very good. Of course blunder preventer, I would like to hire a blunder preventer please. The biggest problem I have is being captivated by certain positions that don't have any obvious good moves. Then the time ticks down too much and I end up losing on time due to two or more positions like this during a given game. I usually can see the bad moves, and then run out of options on where to go. Then later in analysis, I find that I was focused on the wrong piece completely. If you know what the key piece is to move, then it's much easier. So identifying the key piece in any given position is a highly valuable skill.
@jmjm92943 жыл бұрын
I think the answer to the puzzle is Qe5+. If Kg8 avoiding the check then simply Rd8+ and black loses the queen. If Rg7 blocking, then I think Rg1 would be the next continuation move as there is no way to defend the g7 Rook afterward. In that variation, he can give a check with Qf3 but now because we moved the rook to g1, Qf3+ wouldn't be a checkmate and we can simply move our king.
@jmjm92943 жыл бұрын
Oops i accidentally hit enter. I'm not yet done haha If after Rg1 black plays Rg8 trying to defend the g7 rook then I think the crushing move in that position is exf7. But if after Rg1 black goes Qf3+ first and then he goes Rg8, exf7 also works I guess but Rd8 also looks equally as crushing and is a more beautiful move. Watching from the Philippines btw!
