Here's a tip for switch players! Sometimes the joy con will just randomly give random x's every song even if you can 13k it. If this happens, go into the settings, and then either recalibrate the motion controls, or restart the entire console. Hopefully the issue is fixed.

as someone who has gotten 13ks on the songs i put my mind to dancing to, timing is everything, don't take your eyes off the screen when you're just learning the song so you can figure out exactly how to do the moves. happy dancing :)

Thanks so much for the tips! I already knew some of them but still! I play on Switch and it is SOOOOO annoying when I’m dancing to a song and I’m getting all perfects and then a random SUPER comes out of no where, and what makes it even MORE annoying is that I’ve gotten full perfects on that song before. So far the only maps in JD2022 I got full perfects on are Sua Cara and Black Mamba Medium Version.

I think I got 13k on Thats not my name, Heavy Cross, Giddy on up, ALMOST did on Womanizer, and I think thats all of them, though I don’t know I’ll have to check.

I'm a phone player (Android) with PS4. My tip is that you have to turn off the vibration for a better scoring; sometimes (with vibration) in repeated moves I get Perfect but when I get a star the score is less, the same argument goes to gold moves because i get the gold move but the following move is a good or a ok. The real problem is when the phone disconnects at a random point of a song (I notice it when I start ti get xs)

I have a Switch, and I hate that I can't get a good score on Birthday (in my opinion a really easy choreo) just because of the tracking. Had a similar problem with Rare by Selena Gomez - in the end I just sat down and did the motions and I got megastar.

for me the tracking on 'Birthday' and 'Sushi' extreme just doesn't work... I'm using a Nintendo Switch and my joycons are basically brand new, I do the move perfectly but it still gives me 'GOOD' or 'OK' constantly, I had practiced 'Birthday' through youtube multiple times before trying it for reals on my actual birthday, I decided to see how it was before my birthday hit and It wasn't tracking any of my moves right... Sushi extreme goes way too fast to calibrate any of the moves no matter how accurate or delayed I do them...

i can say that switch is really arm-based, because i did choreos only moving the right arm (I ALSO DID LEVEL UP) and i ended up breaking some records (Smalltown Boy and Level Up)

This may not really help,but I noticed on the songs (I know this is true on unlimited,but I don’t know if it applies with the actual games) that the moves are time sensitive.Try the moves earlier and you can get better then an ok. (I’m a switch player,so I don’t know if this works on other platforms and games)

the kinect>controller tip is true for me, i got 5 stars in bangarang extreme in just dance 2020 (xbox one, first try, with a kinect) compared to 3 stars in just dance now (my android tablet connected to my tv, first try, with a connected phone)

A trick is to do it slow. Unless it’s whether the beat drops like really hard, you need to go slow or fast.
