As someone who has played EVERY storm game since storm 1, I can tell you that the most important thing is to practice. It’ll take some time but the main things you need to learn is how to counter-dash and understand your character. Each character is different and has different points in their combos where you can jump out, extend your combos, or even just bait your opponent. If anybody wants any personalized tips hmu and I’ll gladly help you out! I have the game on every console except for PC (might get it on there too eventually haha). kross gotcha the best thing to do to conserve chakra is don’t do many Justus. Typically when you’re playing with higher skilled players, you’ll have to rely more on combo’s rather than things to use your chakra on. Higher skilled players also tend to know how to avoid Justus and Ultimate Justus simply by jumping or guarding so I don’t recommend doing them too much unless you’re 100% sure they’re gonna land. I recommend saving chakra more for dashing and extending combos since it is the least chakra consuming thing (after charged shuriken ofc)

Vixxo Ace Minato can be a pain to deal with if people are just running away. Honestly it’s not fun to play against but the best counter to that is to use a support like darui, kid gaara with sand shower, or someone with a fireball. This will force your opponent to dodge or block so that they don’t get hit with the attack and this can give you a good opening to dash in and start attacking. As for deidera, you can do a double jump (press jump button twice, quickly and your character will lunge forward) and this will make you go through most of deidera’s shuriken spam and help you get closer so you can attack. Also try throwing charges shuriken from a distance, depending on your character, this could go through deidera’s normal shuriken (exploding birds) and hit him since he stands in place while doing his shuriken combo’s leaving him vulnerable to these attacks. As for kisame, I recommend just choosing someone with a longer range than him or someone faster like kakuzu, lee, gaara, Naruto, or Sasuke! Hope this helps

Timing matters. Also reach is very important, just remember some characters have better kits even though you can get better with any character. Example madara has a good hit box in terms of reach. Whereas hashirama and gaara have bigger hit boxes but short reach. Speed is also another factor here minato for example. One more thing to mention people don't pay attention to is the net coding and input lag delays or wifi connection. That matters as well.

If this was a traditional fighting game I could see myself playing competitively. The guys who beat my ass just block, spam ninjitsu until UT work's,chakara dash every time I substitute,extend combo's with switching and chakara dash canceling. Also there be way to much stuff happening at once with a game this fast paced in a 3d space. I feel like I would have to play passively to not get my as kicked but 99 seconds ain't enough for that.

I think the replay ability of the game is a reason it stands out cause when this game first came out and I got I was ok in a fight but I didn’t know about all the techniques involved and I always lost but gradually got better the more I trained and researched those techniques. Going into a fight you’re not guaranteed a win but you gotta apply techniques that fit your situation ( I know I’m kinda hardheaded when it comes to using the same tactics and losing)

I remember watching this when I was in middle of installing data for the first time and thought I would be soo ass at the game 🤣 💯 Literally just played tuts 1-3 | 20-30 minutes, everyday, for the first week. And was able to master mechanics, muscle memory, and quick- decision making skills (for dodging, using ninjutsu/ ult skills, and that reflection skill) It’s suuper easy once you memorize controls and techniques 😌 👌

Im a Naruto fan. The only thing you have to know about Storm 4 is the idea of chakra. You need chakra to do jutsus, similar to how you need chi to do attacks in dbz. So in order to do a jutsu you just press Y (triangle on playstation) and then B (circle on ps). Press Y twice and then B to do a super move (better jutsu, more damage).
