No it doesn't need to be running

This method does not work on my Honda. The SRS light flashes but not my check engine light I don't think I have a faulty ECM so not really sure

SRS light is a whole different animal. No idea

@BadHomeowner but I got it taken care of. I just got in my new fuel pump and main relay. I already changed my distributor. only so many parts that it could be why my car won't start. All I can do is go up from here
