During a discovery call I was trying to get a business owner to sign onto a free trial to get the ball rolling using my one case study I have, but the business owner wanted an estimate amount of leads and I couldn't promise him anything due to not working in that niche before. He told me to come back when I have results with his industry. Currently struggling to sign on clients even on a free trial, I can't convince them to go on a free trial.

100% agree. Mindset first. Don’t like cold emails or calls. My strategy is educating SME owners free information that’s useful and then sell the service because the free education is relevant to the service/product you sell

I agree. just gotta stick to it! I know that outreach channel isn’t that important as long as you chose one, but what are some of your favorites? (Cold calling, emailing, Instagram DM, etc etc.) Reason I ask is because I have a to clients, but I am not very good at cold calling (introvert). Should I hire somebody to manage the phones? Any advice? Thanks Mike!

I like to see what they're doing with ads... and send them a video email with some tips they could be doing better. It's personal, it offers a immediate value, it promotes trust, and most people don't want to run their own ads anyway. Then I ask them if they would like further help. And yes... you can also hire a contract sales person to make calls for you as well.

thanks for the great video! didnt even really start yet but i guess it would be the fear of rejection and getting into a negative feedback loop for me. does your agency course contain a specific strategy to reach out to new clients thats based around cold calling or something? i guess cold emailing or contacting people on linkedin would fit me better as im more talented in writing akquisition mails and also in consulting (giving value before selling) instead of selling a service through cold calling
@MikeMancini Жыл бұрын
Yes...we cover cold calling and emailing in the course.
@florianzimmering8347 Жыл бұрын
@@MikeMancini thanks for the reply, Just my main question before buying the course would be if cold calling is the primary strategy which the course is based around or will other strategies be covered with the same depth and can they be as succesfull? As you said in your Video a Method that works for the one will not necessarily Work for the other and vice versa.
@MikeMancini Жыл бұрын
@@florianzimmering8347 We cover EVERYTHING that we've ever done to get clients including these tactics. Also, a new email marketing module will be released in the coming days as well. There is no PRIMARY strategy for everyone. You have to pick what works for YOU.

Hey Mike, love your content a lot! I have one question, kinda irrelevant to this video so I hope it's fine. So basically my plan is to go into the e-commerce niche and provide clients with Google Adwords services - however, I'm not sure about retaining the client. How long they usually stey with you? Also regarding the pricing, I saw somewhere that 20% of the budget is a sweet spot - what do you think? Thanks!
@MikeMancini3 жыл бұрын
Retaining clients is all about setting expectations and then surpassing those. If you don't set expectations correctly, you can expect 2-3 months. However, when set correctly, it is MUCH longer. Over 50% of our clients have been with us 4 years or longer. In regards to pricing, we don't charge a percentage of budget. We have a flat monthly fee that we charge (which varies depending on how much they are spending on ads). Thanks for the question. Sorry for the delay in answer this.

how about if you have your first two clients but they don't wanna spend the money?Its a struggle to get results for them. I got to a point now where I do it for free just to get results leverage that I can leverage and move on

That's why we have to keep going. The more no's you get, that means you're one step closer to a yes. You have to be able to handle the no's or you will never have an agency. I wish you nothing but the best of luck!

Not all clients will be successful. You WILL have some fall off. The key is to keep finding new clients while working with existing clients.

Hey Mike, I'm relatively new to this space and am asking if all i need are google ads specialists, myself and the clients is everyone i need to run this agency?

That is true. I have an agency with just myself... 2 specialists and my clients. And neither of my specialists are in the United States. I hired them overseas.

@@luukwillem8377 Yes...but I have an exclusive arrangement with them personally (they are not working for me through an agency overseas).
