i have had my large potted plant for years and hardly ever flowers. I pruned it very heavily in late winter and put the plant outdoors in spring. Lots of branches grew back but only one or two flowers at the end of summer. Brought it back indoor s for 2 months now with infrequent watering and still no flowers. I might just throw it out next year.

Why don't you think about flower boosting? Give it phosphate &potash rich fertilizer and please don't prune hardly,it will concentrate on foliage & branch development.may your plant get nitrogen rich foods in maximum ratio.Love your plant and care property, it's not your enemy.It will do what you feed it exactly. If you really need flowers then work on it, perfectly instead of blaming it
