🎨 How to GET CREATING in your Sketchbook

I let my intuition and creativity loose in realtime so that you can feel motivated to start creating art with me. I'm using water-soluble Caran d'Ache Neocolor II and Stabilo Woodys in my sketchbook. I also paint over a tin container for storing my art supplies.

I really love to watch you. You said the first one made you think of a Dr. Suess type painting. The second one with the well, makes me think of an illustration that would be in a children's book. Love it!

I think I liked the desert with cactus the best, if I have to choose. The exercise is great. I will try it very soon. It reminds me of one I do when I’m traveling in the passenger seat of the car on long trips. I just sketch what’s in front of me and let the drawing transform as the scenery changes. This was quite inspiring. Watching you be daring made me feel adventurous to give it a shot! ❤

Can someone tell me the difference in looks between Neocolor 2 and the Woodys? I have a full set of Neocolor 2 and I’m curious about getting the Woodys but I’m just curious about what they offer.

I think the Neocolors are a better quality. The Woodys are fun because of the big chunky shape. I think it’s like using a different paint brush to create in a different way. If that makes sense.

I have neo colors 1 & 2. What do you like about the stabilo woodys that is different from neos?

They seem creamier?

They honestly feel 90% the same. The woodys are slightly scratchy. (Like a color pencil, but just barely.) Definitely not more creamy. I think the wood is the biggest difference. You don’t get any mess on your hands from holding it. They also feel more playful because of the size. I think the Neocolors blend and layer better. I definitely like the Neocolors better overall. The Woodys are very very similar though. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching! 😊👍
