It all depends on the COUNTRY dependent documents they ask for. Most often you cannot send the scanned copies. ECE needs to be sent the official documents =sealed transcripts from the University. Your school sends the unofficial transcript to the university. Your university can use the world wide transcript portal if it is mentioned in your country specific documents section on the form.

Hello Sam, while you are selecting the reason for credential evaluation, initially if I select engineering as my field of study and then if I am applying to programs based on design, is it going to cause a problem?

Nope, not a problem. ECE is only for your existing credentials and education and in order for US schools to grade you a similar level with other applicants. You can apply to any course you qualify for after it. Just make sure with your applied schools that all their requirements are fine for you.

Hey @Jyoti Joshi, I think it should work because the transcripts are never going to change. Degree certificates need to be original as well. Frankly I would recommend you to create an ECE account and contact them individually if they need new transcripts through your account for exact response. I have not encountered anyone sending stuff which has been more than 5yrs so far. So I am not completely aware of this part. In the institution area add CAAPID for sending it to them electronically.

Yes you will get one for yourself when you request for a hard copy to know your GPA. Send the copy for jcnde later when you are ready for taking your exam as the eligibility from the jcnde for INBDE is only 6months. Beyond that you may have to pay again for the exam. Request the other university copies later.

Provisional certificate is when you are still doing your internship saying you are still in school. This can be from the dean or registrar INBDE certificate of eligibility is a letter from the dean saying you have completed all the required courses/classes needed to be eligible for the exam. I need some more information regarding what course you are applying for inorder to answer your questions correctly in detail.. However usually once you get evaluation done for your first course/program you are applying for or company that should be fine. Unless the specific state you are moving to later on has certain licensure requirements or your specific company says so.

Hey Kamal, on the ECE website they haven't mentioned any time duration for the transcripts. So I suppose it might be ok. Always confirm with them via email or phone.

Hey Lavanya Pragada, once you have finished adding your BDS details, save it as shown in the video then go on the same page ( not edit the BDS info but a new one ) and start for MDS with graduated , from India , with the different dates and so on. Finally it should show both your UG as well as PG on the right side as your educational history.

I am unaware if international teachers need ECE evaluation. But you do have to give a few tests before working. Please contact the specific state regulatory bodies/universities/schools for your details regarding ECE. Preferably should have similar name as your passport. Some people even have had an affidavit made from the lawyer on a stamp paper in India for a similar correction confirming and mentioning that it is the same person .

@Kezia , my pleasure . That's a great question and here is how you can do it easily if it's not coming up as institutions. 1. Complete the ADEA CAAPID application and get a Centralized Application Service (CAS) ID#. 2. From your ADEA CAAPID account, choose to order an ECE® Evaluation.

@@DrSamthedentisthomie I have not completed the ECE so my friend suggested before doing the payment on ece I have to make a Caapid account in order for me to redirect to ece page I am left with nothing but to complete the form. ..so like I Mentioned before the institution recieving ece report doesn't show CAAPID like the other universities.. So should I just complete the ECE form ..do the payment and do all the work and then do Caapid? Will it work like that

Yes. Complete the CAAPID form later. You can always go inside ECE webpage form and order additional ECE reports for other universities + ECE for CAAPID later too. You don't need to complete the CAAPID form before ECE. It can take about 1-2.5 months. May increase due to COVID to 3 months. So get it done soon 😊

All original documents as mentioned in the video plus sealed transcripts from your University are needed. Your dental college will send it to the university and the university will send sealed transcripts to ECE. Unless you have them send it to you and you send it all together to ECE.

@@rajvnk8950 Some schools do accept WES. But most commonly they need ECE in US. You will have to confirm with each school website before you apply to them on CAAPID.

@ Ranzou thank you 🙂 as per ECE website they need sealed transcripts only. Opened envelope even though from university is not considered valid. They need proof that nothing is tempered.

@@ranzupoudel1235 unfortunately not. Remember: please don't consider that someone will not give if you don't ask for it my friend.🙂 All universities give as it is a part of the process and they understand it can be about degrees earned few years ago as well.. So please try to contact them.
