I think the guy in this video has a looser hair texture naturally. I have extremely nappy hair, but length + doing the King Bril method + detangling over a long period of time gave me legitimate curls eventually.

I wished I’ve found this channel before first time I grew my hair out I made the mistake of getting a temp fade quite the high one then the second time I grew my hair out well when I cut it instead of cutting it all I cut it into a little Afro and the fade was still there matter fact my barber push it more up both the sides and the back (I cut it in the first place cuz it was damaged ) I was so heated I was gone hit my 2 year journey before I cut it 5 months ago but my hang time was trash that shit barely hit my neck when I use to get braids🤦🏽‍♂️don’t make the same mistakes I did guys thankfully this time I’m growing everything out I have a fade on the sides but it ain’t that high at all and on the back 0 FADE !!! I think some 4C hair (thin density hair also), wash n go's dont work on, regardless the product. Either have to 2 strand twist or literally lightly finger coil bout 5 strands at a time after parting. Starpuppy channel helps for ppl like that. Even the curls in my pic is from a 2 strand twist.
