I'm so thankful I came across your videos. I have an amazing soon in law that is biracial and he is wanting me to style his hair for him and being I'm Cherokee I handing had any experience with styling any other ethnic hair. In really wanting to learn, excited to learn in fact but I need suggestions and help as I don't want to damage his hair, which is beautiful already. He correctly wears the sides and back into a fade with the top and partial back long. I had hoped his mother which is African American could reach me products and so forth but shockingly she has told me she can't even braid hair and has ALWAYS had others style or cleanse her own hair. So we are going to learn together. Anyway can anyone suggest what products I need to keep his hair healthy and which products I need for certain style such as braiding, stack curls(finger or comb twisting)

Man. This is always my best haircut. Everybody loves my hair like this. Currently I’m growing my hair out and have 2 strand twist. I’m debating on cutting my hair back to this level but I’m so indecisive 😐. Especially because longer hair =more money spent to make it look good. Vs just getting a $10 cut and sponge the hair like in this video 🤔.

@geearc24485 жыл бұрын
WOW this method really worked! My hair is much shorter than his, however it still curl up decently enough. One question I have how often should you do this process? Also is it okay to add the curling cream daily?
@TyJalayahRobertson5 жыл бұрын
Yes! I am so happy to hear that, Thank you for coming back to let me know how it worked for you. I would say to do it as often as you see fit, if that’s a few minutes each day or every other day (be sure that you are detangling regularly like every few days or once a week still. Constantly doing your coils like this without detangling could possibly lead it to loc after some time. As far as the cream, I would try to limit it to every other day or like twice a week just to avoid product build up from topping products on. The product in the video is a bit heavy, so I say that in consideration of that product or products like it. For daily use, a spritz of water+leave in conditioner mix or a spray leave in from the store is fine to use for re-moisturizing or dampening your hair again.
