@patriciajones4465 I use a curling cream, it last the whole week or even longer. I'm able to maintain my hair easily throughout the week just sparring water in my hair, then use a detangler spary, then use a little bit curling cream👍

Actually I style my hair the same exact way. But what I does is after washing the hair I towel dry it. Then add the gel immediately after. Don't allow the hair to get that dry because that mean you take to long to apply the gel. It will end up taking way more gel to get it moist. When I do it this way it's much more easier. Because the gel apply easier and I use less product and get the exact curly look in less time.

Wrap it around hair cup, and refresh with water in the morning or add wet hands with a small amount of gel. Although the curls won’t be fresh as day one. But you get good looking hair

The curls look GREAT!..but, the gel is soo drying I think,..I’ve worn my hair wet/ curly for 10+ years, using..Wave Nouveau texturing system..their moisturizer lotion with their finishing spray….it’s truly a MOISTURIZING product no GEL…I get the same results very curly..and it makes my hair GROW because it keeps my hair moist..so I don’t need to put oil daily too…I’m sure it will give you the same results!😊👍

@@ann-marieblessedmitchellon861 I only use the products that I mentioned in comment..I prefer not to use gel it drys my hair n it’s stiff..any products that are specifically for curly hair should work,it should have some light oil in it, n definitely use LOTS of conditioner n deep conditioning regularly !! Wave Nouveau texturing system I use daily hope it works for you👍

Yeah I cannot use that gel I am allergic and it makes my hair really hard and causes my scalp and causes my s also to itch, but leave in conditioner works best when my hair is wet and it drys looking just like her gel but no itching and soft hair for several days.

I have been using this gel for years. My hair is grey and some parts is wavy and straight. I do the exact but would suggest cutting hair half the length of what it is now or even more. You will use less gel and the style will look even nicer. U will be even to do some different front style. I cut my own hair, and the longer it is, the less manageable it is.

It's quite interesting how you apply the gel because I've never seen anyone apply gel in this format. Usually it's in sections and that's how I've done mine over the years. This process would not apply for all hair types depending on one's grade of hair.

I wear my hair like this a lot and I don’t use gel. I use a leave in conditioner. But the gel will really define the curl pattern and of course will dry the hair out overtime. Just do the gel for special occasions but find a good leave in conditioner after washing your hair.

This works if your hair is short like hers. If it is shoulder length, it will be long and somewhat stringy until it dries, and you don't want all that grease hanging on your back and clothes. And yes, her hair was not on 4c condition before she started.

I would have coated the hair with a leave in conditioner for moisture, then applied the Gel, so the hairs not hard and stiff but I like the Idea.. quick & easy, I'll try it I've tried every thing else. but I'll be Natural till I Leave.. Thanks

Start with damp hair use a leave in conditioner apply Vaseline then add your gel finger twist it and if the hair is real short tie it in a scarf for about 20 minutes then you got instant curls ❤

Do it! The chemicals will eventually rip away your hair line. Just starting growing my hair natural. This is a good hack but you have to use a leave in conditioner too. Keeps the hair moisturized and growing. Good luck sis. ❤️

More like how to define your curls and prevent it from frizzing b/c you already have to have coily /curly hair to achieve this naturally with little to no manipulation. When the hair is dry & combed out, it frizzes the curls and you comb the definition out. Wetting it while locking in the moisture will define the curls again though.
