Okay so i get to step three, i do everything and it says installation failed and the only option is to hit done. I hit done and then i get a tiny pop up at the bottom of my screen that says installation successful and goes away without me touching it. @@andre_s7892 I deleted bmbf and then updated beatsaber and then turned it back to 1.17.1 re downloaded bmbf and made sure to click the cloud download rather than the regular download button. It still had trouble on like 2 songs but after that it worked fine. Also downloading straight from the beatsaber app seemed to be a better option. hopefully that works for you

You’re gonna need to update the game, delete bmbf and start fresh although all my old songs I had carried over so hopefully yours do too!

I know this is an older video but I hope if anyone sees this I have one issue. I followed all the steps and everything worked fine. However, after I downloaded the song and went back to beat saber there was no custom songs tab. I have the patched version installed with the little cloud but when I launch there is no tab to see my custom songs I downloaded. Yep that was the exact reason why I just fixed my beat saber so now I can play Custom songs, beat saber is on a version higher than what bmbf is currently able to run, you need to downgrade it to version for it to work

@@kaylabbui oh frick… i was gonna update this comment and say what i did, it was a little while ago now, so… i may have forgotten lol. But, i had to downgrade beat saber to 1.17.1 (i think that was the version(there are tutorials on KZbin how to downgrade beatsaber on quest. I watched the video on this from disco-VR.)) after that, and re-installing bmbf, everything worked from what I remember. I dont think i had anymore problems. Its a little bit of a pain to fix, but its not too bad, and just take a little patience. Hopefully that helps

@@Bllankly that worked also there's a step I made a mistake in, something will crash, it gave me the option to either close or wait. After carefully reading the instructions online, I had to press on wait, I kept pressing on close which made the whole thing not work. And your right, after I did that it still wasn't working because the version of the game I was using wasn't compatible with the custom songs, I downgraded it to 1.17.0 and after that it finally worked. Now I can add as many custom songs as I want. Thanks though

hey sorry to bother but whenever i try to install the modded beat saber, it says "didn't install" but when i go to my apps it says the unofficial version of beat saber is on there and install from the apps page rather than bmbf. when i go back into the app, it doesn't recognize that the app has been installed on my vr so its stuck on the "install modded beat saber" page. can i get some help? i think it's because of the newest patch with the weeknd edit: okay so for those still struggling, i had to downgrade by beatsaber to 1.19.1 bc im pretty sure bmbf is only compatitble with that version or lower. i didnt want to constantly keep trying with each version bewteen 1.19.1 to 1.26.0 bc i really dont have the time. but the biggest thing was is that i had to remove my bfs account on the headset for it to ACTUALLY install the patched version of beatsaber.

I downloaded some songs along with a mod, I opened beatsaber the way you did and neither of them were there. I went back into bmbf, but all of my songs were gone, and whenever I tried to redownload them it always said download failed. Songs I didn't download the first time downloaded just fine, but those weren't in beatsaber when I opened it again either.

@@Captain_Yata You have to go to Sidequest I believe and there should be a mod compatible version of the game available for download. It should say Downgrade Beat Saber, or BS

Beat saber keeps closing and crashing whenever I try to launch it after BMBF is downloaded and synced. So I cant do anything.
