As I am watching this video I am conditioning and protecting my new Givenchy Prue boots that I got through Farfetch. They came through a boutique in Italy and I saved almost exactly 1/3 off the retail price. In the states, these boots are $1395. plus tax. Over $1,500. all told. At Farfetch they were $1,205. I left them in my basket for two days and they sent me a 10% off code. They came down to about $1,084. I shop this way with everything I can. Matches is another great site. I got the Valentino City sandals that retail for $1045. for half off. Shop smart!

I usually wait for the clearance sales or I go into outlet stores. I do a lot of research as to where I could buy it cheaper. I also follow my own rule and that is ”If it is meant to be, it will wait for me.“ I don't rush and buy things immediately, I wait and 80% of time they are ridiculously reduced - I once bought shoes that retail for 750EUR for just 150EUR. And if the item is not available anymore, there will always be something else, similar, maybe even better. All the best! Can't wait for your next video.

I've been using these for a while, very good tips. I usually buy double or triple sale (stacking percentages off). It's still expensive in the end, but if it's good quality, I like it enough, and I know I'll use it, then it's worth the buy for me.

I always wonder about versace as well!! I love the brand but I never see anyone really buying their stuff which is good so you know your item from them will be unique and not everyone will have it. Buuuuut the resale is terrible on these items the few times I have seen them being resold it's a fraction of the regular price and I can imagine it takes a while to find a buyer

nordette Agree with everything you’ve said! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 Resale is terrible and I feel that a lot of the prints are very 90s and quite loud..... BUT I like the silhouettes....I actually prefer Donatella’s designs to Gianni’s style (having watched that documentary on his murder, I wonder if she kept the patterns going as a tribute to him? Maybe if he were still here, he’d have modernised it with time?) but her style (suit jackets, peplum, hourglass shapes with booties mixed in is something I like.) but not enough to spend the money, I saw a cute blazer in the summer but it was over £2,000 xx

I love your videos Sophie! All of them are super fun to watch and very helpful. However I feel like your videos are starting to get really repetitive. For example with this video, I feel like I've watched like 3 or 4 of these now from you that aren't just about saving money but how to save and use discounts on luxury items specifically. I would like to see more variety from your channel even if it's the same category of topic. For example, vlogs are the same type of video, however everyone does vlogs different and you have a variation in topics, aesthetics, location, etc. Another great example are your story time videos. Same category of video, but different story every time. But don't get me wrong, I love every video you do even if I find it repetitive information, I would just like to see something different.
