I’m fairly new to f1 games and trail breaking is something I’d not heard about and the way you explained it made perfect sense thanks for tips can’t wait to try and beat my average of P5 online

Same here mate. I'm glad to hear someone else said that about being fairly new to the games. Love it so much I just got myself a cockpit setup. I love it so much. Will have to work hard to start turning off some of the assists now! My career modes components are going to continue to suffer for the rest of the season, as I'm driving all the practices much more laps than ever before. (Im not very good) 😮😮

It’s like I heard Darrel Waltrip say about racing at Watkins Glenn, “You gotta slow down to speed up”.

i mean the tips are ok but i dont know if theyre really advanced apart of trail braking most of it was basic stuff

Tried couple of times your product and looks impressive. What you mentioned “trail brake” would be great to see this in the data you show. In other words the corners where you really trail brake as info

im new to sim racing and i got logitech g29. it takes a lot of time to practice trailbraking as the pedal on g29 doesnt feel real to me, it measures the distance of how far i press the brake not the pressure i put on the brake
@RealPyro882 жыл бұрын
I managed to do trailbraking on it after alot of practice, but it definitely is possible

@@cbskwkdnslwhanznamdm2849 Are the fanatic brakes compatible with wheels from other brands? I have a thrustmaster and I don’t want to cheap out on my upgrade but also don’t want to buy if it won’t work
@davefellows Жыл бұрын
@@imhotepnixon All the decent brakes are independent from the wheel, they plugin to your PC via USB separately so you can mix and match.

What about on controller
@Sp3ctor_2 жыл бұрын
Quick question. Does the app work with me only using a controller for driving on the F1 games?
@TrackTitan2 жыл бұрын
Yes it also works with controller!
@Sp3ctor_2 жыл бұрын
That's awesome! Thanks for the answer!
@kikoredog Жыл бұрын
trail braking is hard to do with no inertia feedback from your momentum of actually being in the vehicle...i suck at it.
@davefellows Жыл бұрын
You can modulate based on what the front end is doing. If you start to understeer, you've got too much brake pressure.
@gambit48662 жыл бұрын
should you still be trail braking when using ABS?
@TrackTitan2 жыл бұрын
Yes!
@yammmit Жыл бұрын
don’t use ABS. you can only really be as fast as possible without it
@jeffreytackett39222 жыл бұрын
So, it's considered fair to compare a trail-braking scenario to someone who had to brake a second time? Couldn't compare it to someone who applied the brake properly, but just didn't trail-brake?

good question.

I wish I understood any of the things u said, how does throttling later on give u more speed, I still dont get it.
@TrackTitan2 жыл бұрын
If you get on the throttle too early, you get understeer which makes you slower in the long run
@Spondzile2 жыл бұрын
Also it causes wheel spin and with tc on it cause slower acceleration because tc is blocking excessive power :)It s allbout feelgin your car and later you push your limits :)
@yammmit Жыл бұрын
being patient is always going to be faster. if you understeer wide and miss the apex you’ll lose speed down the whole straight

increasing tire temprature causes less grip, I learnt that it was the opposite.
@TrackTitan2 жыл бұрын
Tyres need to be heated up to their optimal temperature to have the most grip, but if you go hotter than that they will have less grip

Explaining what trail braking is is hardly "advanced" :(
@breegefinnegan75132 жыл бұрын
How is this advanced this is barely for new people
@JohnnyF12 жыл бұрын
If these are advanced tips the simple ones must to turn the way the corner is going, also the gameplay is hot trash i havent seen that person hit a single apex, he carries no speed and he uses low gears
