A USB adapter connection should work in most cases, because it just presents itself to the PC as a regular keyboard. What can cause issues is USB hub. I use my old gaming laptop as a workstation, and it has a lot of stuff plugged in through the USB C hub. Every time I do something in BIOS I need to use a built-in laptop keyboard, because my external mechanical keyboard doesn't work through the hub

Aaaand you are all wrong. Its MegaTransfer RAM. Go in CPUz and see what the MHz is listed at. For 3200 it will be 1,600MHz, for 6,400 it will be 3,200MHz. The transfer rate gets doubled because it can send twice every clock cycle (notice that it doesn't actually send every time it could, these are all max potential numbers).
