The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an action-adventure video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch and Wii U video game consoles. Their over priced limited edition microtransactions that block ingame content. 10 more years, since nintendo is behind every other company tech wise and I guaranty it will unlock missions, and your xp gain will be so low that you will need xp booster amiibos to play in a fun way. Look at assassins creed for one example. Its like looking back at 2011 in this comment section with all the denial of this. You nintendo players clearly don't watch the greater gaming landscape. This is your future, no boycotting will stop this. Its just the sad reality and the golden age of gaming is past us.

Apparently they tried so hard to find a way to fit the Minish into Breath of the Wild but found it a bit too difficult to do so without it feeling wildly different from the rest of the game. :( I really like the Minish, so it makes me happy whenever I pick up a rock and find a rupee under it. It means they're still around!

JEBEDIAH8D I never said anyone was forcing me. Which is why I haven't purchased it. I just wish games would do more with amiibos. I have a good number of them because when they originally came out, they only worked with Smash Bros, and they provided an awesome new game mechanic. But it seems like most games only unlock a new map, or give you a new piece of clothing. I will admit, the ability to use them each day, and having each use be a randomly generated reward, does mean it's doing more than games like Splatoon. I just hate that amiibos had so much potential and squandered it.

Yeah it is, but it's not like they cut major storyline or gameplay from the game and made it DLC. It's just cool costumes that are completely optional AND you get a cute little figure AND you get to support the makers of this amazing game. This is tasteful DLC.

Cool thing about the armor is that you upgrade it with all the dragon parts. A little reference to Majora being a dragon and him being killed by Fierce Diety and the mask being made of his scales by fierce deity.

If I recall, that book you pointed out also says that the Fierce Deity outfit also boosts the power of the Master Sword's Beam, which would make sense given the Fierce Deity himself being able to shoot game-, and boss-breaking beams. It'd be a FINE replacement for my sweet, little Barbarian armor (_Do kids these days refer to armor as "sweet" and "little"?_).

barb armpit is far superior then the Fierce Deity armor, it’s set bonus reduces stamina consumption for, climbing, swimming, bullet time, and charging weapons.

guys, I think Lord Sesshomaru ( from Inuyasha) is fierce deity link ! Link can form into wolf (Twilight Princess) and Sesshomaru's true demon form is a dog. They both have red double stripes line on the cheeks. They both have blue color on the forehead. They both have moon crescent symbol but on different spots. Both have white hair and also wield special swords.

Dude, the only challenge in this game is at the very beginning and later fighting Lynels to upgrade gear. Link is very powerful after clearing some shrines and getting good weapons.

Well they're mostly cosmetic in the end, it makes sense that the more fan service type stuff is mostly meant to be a bonus rather than stuff that's canonically featured in the game. There's still a lot of other cool hidden armors and items you can get in the game.

I wonder whats more time consuming. Going in circles trying to get to the shrines in all 3 labyrinth mazes to get the full barbarian armor or spend several hours re-scanning a hacked amibo code to get an armor piece with the same ability

I'd be happy to grind for the Fierce Diety in that scenario. Barbarian armor looks goofy by comparison. I hate amibos/DLC with extra steps, this should've definitely just been included and later UNLOCKABLE.

this makes me think, similarly to how the fierce diety clothes are the same as the barbarian clothes it's possible to have a goron mask alternetive to the flamebreaker helmet, a zora mask alternative to the zora helm and a bunny hood with a movement speed boost. Also, why not throw in the razor sword and biggoron sword while i'm thinking of things that should happen but probably won't.

It is incredibly hard to upgrade some. You need things called Star Fragments. They look like shooting stars, but they only have a chance of spawning at midnight.

RJ Caleja its random, if your lucky you may get it within a hour or less, but if you dont have a lot of luck it can probably take a couple hours

I just bought a complete set for BOTW, all 22 Zelda themed amiibos on plastic cards with the tags inside and an artwork printed on so you know who's who, with a card holder, that's pretty cool, and it only cost me about 15€ with shipping, thats what an amiibo cost.

I have recieved them and I have to say it's really better than I expected, the cards are solid, they can't bend unless you want to and well done. I haven't tried them on the Switch because my console is hundreds kilometers away from me but the cards quality is beyond expectations.

I'm more amazed that people are ok with this being "locked content" which means? It's already in the game! But you have to buy a figure (weather you like it or not) to unlock it. I understand the method that he went through to unlock it. But your still coming out the pocket if you don't know how to do it yourself. Smh
