This is the second video of the FIRED KZbin series - Financial Independence and Retire Early with Dividends by Invest Mindset.
The FIRE movement has been in popularity recently. As everyone wants to get rid of money problems early to be financially independent fast. Some people desire financial freedom in their 40s or some people would desire it in their 30s.
In this video, I talk about how to achieve financial freedom in your 20s and very fast. By simply investing a portion of your money using the 4% rule or the safe withdrawal rate strategy for early retirement in India.
Financial freedom requires your money to work for you. So when you're not actively working, your money is passively working for you. In that case, you need to first focus on investing your money where it grows at a faster rate than any other place for the longest period of time.
The 3 most important questions when planning finance, early retirement and while looking for financial freedom is how much money do we really need? How much money makes you rich? The second question is how to earn and save and grow that amount of money? The third question is where to invest that money? Should you invest in stocks? Dividend paying stocks? Index fund, Mutual fund, bank, FD, PPF or some other place?
In this video, I talk about the detailed strategy of achieving financial freedom fast in India through the power of dividends.
The second part of this video will talk about how to save and grow that big amount of money.

SUMMARY = NEVER SELL!! Don't stop until you reach 5 crore portfolio, for safety of margin, having 5 crore in your portfolio will ensure you get decent dividends and returns over time, the bigger the portfolio the more will be the dividends and returns, so if you get 1.20% dividend after 10 years on your 5 crore portfolio, you will get a whooping 6 lakh tax free dividend which would be enough to cover your yearly expenses without selling your shares...never sell your shares and always rely on dividends to cover your yearly expenses... Market can crash anytime, but you will always get reasonable dividends even in the recession, which means you don't have to book your loss during market crash. I would also like to add one more point that selling your stocks has one more disadvantage that you have to pay capital gain taxes for selling shares , but you never have to pay tax if you get a dividend of 7 lakh ruppees because it comes under tax slab.

@@jainamgandhi1577 yeah ,true inflation is too high, that's why we should aim for 5 crore in our portfolio, for extra safety of margin....ek baar 2 crore ho gya to 4-5 saal wait krkre easily 5 crore bhe ho jayega due to the magic of compounding.... So your 1st goal should be to reach 2 crore by hook or by crook and then wait for 5 years for it to reach 5 crores... After that you can quit your job and live your life on your dividends, agar 5 crore ke portfolio me 1.50% dividend bhe mil jata hai to yearly package he 7.50 lakh ka hua.... Or agar 5 saal or wait kroge to 5 ka 10 crore ho jayega , double , or 10 crore portfolio pe saal ka 15 lakh ka dividend milega, .... Or 10 crore ka 20 crore jb hoga to 30 lakh per year ka dividend he milega, or 20 crore ka 40 crore agle 5 saalon me to 60 lakh ka dividend milega har saal, so portfolio badhane pe focus kro bas, sari game time ki hai isko krne me 20-30 saal lgege, pr shares mat bechna kabhi.

A safer (May not be better) way would be to Invest in the Real State and rent it out in such a way that monthly rental covers your monthly expenses. With inflation, you can also increase the rent. Your property rates keep increasing and you also get a huge security deposit on which you can earn interest. Although Investment required for this would be a lot.

I think there is very big flaw here..bcz u r always considering todays expense while deciding the amount required for retirement. But the problem is till the time u acquire that amount, say after 20 years u acquire that amount, at that time ur expenses would have also grown. So for example today u decide the fire amount 1 cr based upon 33k monthly expenses and u accumulate 1 cr after 15 years. But after 15 years ur monthly expenses would have grown from 33k to 99k approx considering 7 percent inflation. So after 15 years your target amount will also change from 1 cr to may be 3 or 4 cr. So for me it looks like never ending chase..plz correct me if I am wrong..I would like to know more if someone has answer to my question

Hi @invest_mindset, I have little doubt about your FIRED process. While following any process, do we consider inflation also. Suppose today I need 20k pm, but after 30 yrs, I will require the amount adjusted by inflation, so shall we consider "Inflation adjusted" 20k × 100 ?

I also have same question. This guy is always considering today's expense while deciding the amount required for fire. But the issue is after 15 years ur expenses would have grown 3 or 4 times and the amount u accumulated will not be sufficient at that time..at least for me it looks like never ending chase..even this guy is saying to save 100 times of current expenses..which is completely impossible. U will have to work hard till u die to accumulate such a large amount
