you will have to go to the fuse box under the dash, it will be bolted in place. Somehow (unbolt it) there is a sticker on the back that has the code. I am not nimble enough to get into mine, i just cannot contort myself that way. I have seen videos of guys use mirrors and a phone and a camera on a flexible stick. it ain't easy.

Supposedly the code can be found on the passenger side fuse panel. You have to remove a panel where you access the fuses and it should say key code followed by a 5 digit number.

Worked on my 2020 ST Explorer. I had to try it 3 times. I think switching the keys quickly is the trick. BTW, I had the buttons on the FOB facing forward. I was concerned because one of my two keys was an aftermarket (not from Ford) one I got through a locksmith who programmed it to the original key I had. Apparently everything transfers over to the new key when they program it. Thanks for putting out this info.

If this doesn't work, remove the key ring of both fobs so there's nothing attached to them, and then try again. One of my fobs had a key on the key ring. I tried a dozen times on my 2020 Edge Titanium but it didn't work until I took the key rings off both fobs.

I had to end up taking my truck to the dealer. I bought 2 new key fobs off of Ebay. It took less than 30 minutes in and out. If you buy fobs off of the internet, you have to be careful because of they are not OEM then they may not work. Fortunately the ones I bought worked great. Now I have 3 fobs. I think you're going to have to bite the bullet and take it to your local dealership.

Not only do i not have two electronic keys, I don't even have one. Only a third party key fob. It starts with a plain old key so I suppose my used 2006 f150 lariat's security system has been disabled. I may fix this later, but right now all I want to do is to start using the keyless entry keypad to lock and unlock my truck. Is this even possible? I don't have the 5 digit code. I heard it is on my computer module, but I don't know where it is. My fob DID lock and unlock the doors at first, but I think the battery in the fob may have gone dead since it no longer works. I put in the key just turned it to the on position and did not start the vehicle and then took it out after five seconds and put the second key in and turned it to the on position again but nothing shows up on the display that would resemble a factory code so I can reset my keyless door entry….any other thoughts?
