"Access Express to Asakusa " is the most asked question, so let me explain a little more. This train is non-reserved seat only. The fare is around 1310 Yen to Tokyo city center depends on station you get off. 1) After arrival, proceed to the basement and you'll find 2 platforms "JR" and "Keisei". Go to "Keisei" one. This is the same process for both "Narita Airport" station and "Airport Terminal 2" station. 2) Purchase ticket or IC card on machine at Keisei station. Enter the gate. (You can install Suica / Pasmo on your Apple Pay if it works in your country) 3) Proceed to Platform NO.1. This is the same for both Narita Airport Statoin and T2 station. 4) Make sure you take the right train. Only 2 types of trains come to this platform No.1. Access Express(non-reserved seats) looks like subway, and Skyliner (reserved seats) -that all seats are facing front. ❗Access Express is the train local residents and workers take too. I couldn't find any English timetable, so I made a time table for the Access Express from Narita Airport Station. * Updated on April 2024 - KEISEI Narita Airport Station Time Table - SKY ACCESS (non - reserved seat train) to Oshiage - Asakusa * Stops at Terminal 2 station 3 min. after this time table. * This is NOT Keisei Skyliner with reserved seats. * This is NOT JR Narita Express / JR local trains time table. WEEKDAY 5:41N / 6:20 N/ 7:04 N/ 7:44 H/ 8:28 H/ 8:51 H/ 9:21H / 10:03 H/ 10:39 H/ 11:24 H/ 12:04 H/ 12:44 H/ 13:24 H/ 14:04 H/ 14:44 H/ 15:24 N / 16:04 N / 16:44 N/ 17:25 H/ 18:04 N / 18:44 T* / 19:25 T*/ 20:05 N/ 20:40 / 21:13 N/ 22:04 T*/ 23:08 T*/ WEEKEND 5:46 N/ 6:22 H/ 6:50 H/ 7:09 K / 7:49 K / 8:39 H/ 9:23 H/ 10:03 H/ 10:44 H/ 11:24 H/ 12:04 H/ 12:44 H/ 13:24 H/ 14:04 H/ 14:44 H/ 15:24 H/ 16:04 H/ 16:44 H/ 17:24 H/ 18:04 H/ 18:29 N/ 19:14 H/ 19:49 T*/ 20:35 N/ 21:18 N/ 22:08 T*/ 23:08 T*/ (If you get these, it takes you directly to Oshiage, Asakusa, Shinbashi, Daimon...) * time with “H” Go to Haneda Airport (HND) via central Tokyo, stops at Oshiage/Asakusa/Shinbashi/Daimon/ Sengakuji / Shinagawa / Haneda Airport. * time with “N” Go to Nishimagome via central Tokyo, stops at Oshiage/Asakusa/Shinbashi/Daimon… change at Sengakuji for Shinagawa and Haneda Airport. * time with "K" Go to Kurihama on Keikyu line. If you are going to Haneda Airport, change at Sengakuji to the train to Haneda Airport. (if you get this, you have to change) * time with “T* Go to either Ueno or Takasago. Get off at Keisei Takasago and stay on the same platoform, take train towards Asakusa line which are trains EXCEPT bound for Ueno (Keisei Ueno). This may take some more time as it stops more stations after Aoto. Approximate time it takes in order of stop: Oshiage 54min. Asakusa 59 min. Shinbashi 70 min. Daimon 72 min. Shinagawa 81 min. HND 93 min.

Thank you for the details! Do you know if Access Express stops at Higashi-Ginza station? Because I saw several videos where there is a map with this station included. If this train stops there, is more convinient because my hotel is near Higashi-Ginza station. Thank you in advance!

@@dario.l27 Hello. Thank you for watching. Access Express skips Higashi-Ginza, so you can get off at Nihonbashi and wait for the next train at the platform where you get off. Next train should come in 5 minutes. It's easy even if you have luggage. This is the best way to get to hotels in central Ginza area. :)

Being a first time visitor to Japan, I searched lots of videos/articles on how to differentiate between skyliner and sky access express on the platform. This is the only video that explained it clearly. Looks simple when you’re a regular but need such clarity for the first visit when you have tens of things to sort out.

Hi, thank you for your comment. That is exciting that you'll be back to Tokyo in December! Yes, the TYO-NRT bus service started after Narita's Terminal 3 opened. You are right about the luggage, it's great that the bus leaves from the arrival floor and arrives right in front of Tokyo station. I also talk about that bus in the recent Tokyo Station video at around 5:01. I wish you the best trip.

Hello Edna san, thank you for watching the videos. Yes, if you are transferring to JR Yamanote line, Nippori is much closer so you'll see most of the passengers get off at Nippori. In case your final destination is Ueno, you don't have to get bothered to get off at Nippori, and just proceed to the last stop "Keisei Ueno", it's still connected with JR Ueno station underground. Tokyo Wide Pass is good when you make 2 or 3 day trips from Tokyo, and you can use for Narita Express too. :)

Hello, Mr.Sloboda. Thank you for your comment. Since it's unclear how long it takes to go through immigration and custom, I feel it's common to purchase tickets upon arrival at the counter. They guide you to the next available Skyliner. There is an English site that you can purchase in advance, but this one ask you to get assigned your seat at the station anyway. That's great you are visiting Japan for the first time! One idea is to take Access Express (non-reserved train bound for Haneda Airport) to Shinbashi station and change to Yurikamome, that way you need to transfer only once to get to Ariake station. Every 90 min. or so, the TYONRT bus goes to Shinonome Aeon, which is very close to Ariake, but you get stuck there, in case you cannot find a taxi. I recommend you to ask your accommodation too as they might have better idea. I wish you the best trip to Japan :)

Go to JR train platform at Terminal 1, take Narita Line (Chiba-Kuko) Rapid (for Kurihama), train passing Chiba, stay on same train, no need to transfer, train becomes Sobu Line (Rapid, for Kurihama). Total ride takes 1hr 35min. However, such local and direct train schedule is infrequent and requires keen research. Could you clarify? If that alternative route is true, it’s still not convenient for most tourists to take because it’s intensely time-specific.
