My Official Book Series Website: theheroesfall.com/
Perfection is impossible, that is why the journey is infinite. I've found it's good to set that goal, but not to become it (don't define yourself like that).
When it comes to creative works, it's really daunting. It's so hard to create anything, much easier to destroy or just criticize someone else's work. Not to say the criticism isn't valid, it's just way easier to do. So we need to fortify ourselves mentally so that we know it's ok to make mistakes and even have some failures along our journey toward perfection. Yes, people can be brutal. Yes, some are going to hate you and what you do. It's just how it is. But don't let that stop you from putting your work out and at least giving things a try. You'll improve much faster by actually doing things and putting them out, than sitting back and hiding yourself and what you're creating. So what's your actual goal? Being perfect? Impossible. Learning and improving along the way to perfection? That's perfect. Perfectly imperfect, which is all we can really do. And on the flip side, there are going to be people who love your work too... you just need to reach those people. Don't expect pop listeners to appreciate your death metal.
And that's why I've decided now is the time to release my novels again and hopefully find people who enjoy reading them too. Some of you have read them before, this is a rewrite though, so some new structure, new chapters, and pretty much every word rewritten (probably only used 1% of the previous wording), so might still be worth checking out again! Especially for the new scenes. It isn't perfect, but I've put a lot of work in and it's honestly the best I can do for now. I'm going to continue on with the series, so hopefully I'll get book 2 out not too long into the future, then give book 3 a rewrite (it's only in first draft at the moment), and then finish 4 and 5 (5 in the series).
Thanks for everything over the years, this channel has been extremely challenging and helped me grow a lot, and I'll keep pushing myself to get better. All part of the journey.

Ok, I hope I got everything working, still nervous with this stuff, just want it all to be "perfect", but ... not possible. I really have to practice the advice in this video, especially after how much work I just put into all this ... gotta relax and just fix things if they need fixing. Hopefully some of you like it! Now for the book, looks like paperback is only available in the US right now, but I'll figure out how to get it available in more areas ASAP. Ebook should be available everywhere, I assume, it's just the paperback isn't delivered to many places (possibly UK, but not even to Australia!). Thanks again for everything, working on Pwnage Stormbreaker review next, then Pulsar X2H. Oh and this counts as the video letting everyone know that my first book is available again ... I said I'd do a video, so here it is!

Been watching your content for years, has helped me a lot in my own journey. So glad and happy to see that you have made it so far, by realizing that it's all about the journey-in the little time that we have in this plane of existence that's called life. I wish you all the best, and I would certainly be reading your book sometime. Have a good one, Zy!

I've been meaning to read your books for a long time, now would be a good time. Especially after hearing what you described about its plot. This series has always been my absolute favorite on the channel, and I'm curious to see how much goes to the book. Also will add, you mentioned singing, and I will say I've only heard you sing in one song (Believe) and I'll be honest, it's one of my favorite songs and your singing is one of those reasons. 👍

Zy, Thank you. I needed to hear this today. I have been pretty down on myself lately and feel like I have been kind of floating and not achieving what I want out of life. I keep saying I will start tomorrow because I have too much to do today. But there is always going to be a lot going on in my day to day life, and I just need to stop making excuses and get my butt in gear. Thank you again, this video was the kick in the ass I needed.

love the motivational stuff from you! Absolute getting me more fire inside to keep grinding. I was wondering what you use for audio these days? Since I changed to IEMs recently and just fell in love with them :D
@RocketJumpNinja
@RocketJumpNinja 10 ай бұрын
Oh true, what makes you love them? I heard they're not great for your ears, something about the sound source too close to the drum or something, need to look into it more. I'm using wireless for casual stuff, but some Shure SRH1540 for gaming.

@@RocketJumpNinja I just love the freedom on your head. The less weight on your body while playing and the ability to talk to someone in real life more easily because you only need to unplug one iem for that. My only problem with them are, I dont know where to plug them in, to get the best sound out of them. Right now I pluged them into my mic. That was the easiest way. Even doe I have some audio problems with left and right channel being mixed.. I never really had any discomfort even while playing over 5h in a row. You just need to get them out of the ear when you do an little break. Is there any chance to get some videos from you about audio? Like IEMs, Headset, headphones for music? The difference between them and maybe some tips for audio setups? Would be interesting to get a full video out of that, since you can only watch videos specifically about one thing most of the time.

The hole video was great, and it hepled me to understand how to make propper videos and how to aproach new things. But we rly need to talk about the rebels thing at the start of the video xD Edit: Might be a unusual question, but would it be possible to make a "behind the reviwes"? How you make the reviews, the prozess of aproaching a video? Or how you work in depth. Maybe i havent seen it yet, but i coundnt find one :/ Would be interesting to see, because your work is just amazing

I love these kinds of videos of yours! What I was wondering, since you play fps games on a high level for so long, did you ever feel like aging starts to impact your performance ?
@RocketJumpNinja
@RocketJumpNinja 10 ай бұрын
I try not to think about "excuses" like that ... if I was playing physical sport, sure, but that's because I've got a lot of wear and tear from basketball, but this is gaming. My mind is still sharp, I'm always pushing myself in some way to improve, still learning new things, and if I feel like my reflexes aren't on point, then I try to change my sleep and diet habits, or figure out something else to help train them to be faster somehow. Honestly, haven't noticed my reflexes slowing, so I don't really think it's an issue (yet). This video is in the "How To Get Good" series, where there is actually a video dedicated to age too, might want to have a look! kzbin.info/www/bejne/a53ahnuPrdB6e68

Sounds like you gotta take a break. It's like working 12 hour shifts every day ... no breaks. What happens? Fatigue, and you start failing at basic tasks. You have to take breaks, even if you don't think you can, because if you don't, you'll actually be less productive. Go refresh your brain!

I've been learning to mix and master better, so slowly going over the old stuff too. It's so much work and I'm still not "there" yet, where I don't have to worry about blowing anyone's speakers out. And the rest is just in videos / in the usual places it always has been, I haven't touched any of it.
