This is what I get when I let Nick pick the canyon. He also wanted to make sure I made the distinction that it was prickly pear GELATO. It is not the sorbet or ice cream. Because Nick is makes poor decisions in life in general, but he is a stickler for details when it comes to frozen treats.

The Supes get too hot in the late spring to mid fall. Wasn't horrible with wetsuits. But mainly because Nick enjoys torturing me.

Jerry, I don't know whether it's appropriate to even ask this, but I'm gonna, because I think very highly of your video compositions. I am just beginning to edit my own videos. The thing I am lacking most is a good resource for music and sound effects. The audio you use on your videos makes it seem like you have a high-quality resource. Care to share any of your secrets?

I have subscriptions to Epidemic Sound and Artlist. I'm liking Artlist more these days. There are a few other services out there like them that give you music without licensing issues. I used to just use songs I liked, but you can't monetize without the license. KZbin has free music, but I haven't found much on there that I like.

Yes, still blocked at Fish Creek Vista and then Apache Lake Vista from the Theodore Roosevelt Dam side.

Not at this time of year. Too cold. Nick HAS run into a rattlesnake stuck in the water in a tight part of the canyon. Took some fancy footwork to get past.

Oof. Good luck with the conditions. I hear they got a lot of snow after this trip. Even down at the ranch. Just take your time on the hike out. Pace yourself and take breaks. You'll make it. Or maybe even get a helicopter ride!

Oh hell no! Have you done Blue Tank Canyon? It is right off of Canyon lake. I took my kayak there and went as far as I dared. Of course I didn't have any gear and was by myself, so I kind of freaked myself out with the first major obstacle. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGq3kJyfqb-eabs
