Thanks for doing this video! I’m about to put this on my hair, and this was the ONLY video for this toner color I could find! By the way I think your hair looks beautiful!

Same! Sally's by me was out of the T18 and currently my hair is freshly bleached-banana peel yellow and I couldn't find any reviews or images except Miss Hannah's here! Hers came out awesome so I'm a lot less terrified right now

@Mhyrrannah Allard kind of exactly like the video showed...there were some bits that looked more "gray" than icy white, but not bad at all...looked like I MEANT to have gray highlights/lowlights haha. But def would suggest (like she does) 2 tubes at least. I only have shoulder length hair, but it's thick and 2 *JUUUUST* barely did the job. So if you have longer& thicker hair, you might need more than that!

So glad I found this video and your comments. My Sally's was out of t18 too so I grabbed this toner instead..before finding this video. @Mhyrrannah Allard thank you for your review I may follow your lead to get a more white look than gray.

I know your comment is a couple of years old, but since you didn’t get a response, hopefully I can help. I’ve got platinum hair, and I use the same products she uses here. My hair is down to my lower back and from what I can see in the video, her hair is very similar to mine in texture and thickness. She mentions air drying after she washes the toner out, and that is one way to put less damage on your hair. Personally, I will let mine air dry about halfway, and then I’ll blow dry the top and face-framing layers just to make it fall how I want it to. I will usually leave the mid sections of mine damp. If you choose to air dry, don’t do it at night before bed. Tossing and turning on a pillow with wet hair is more damaging than just blow drying it. I only wash my hair once every 4 to 5 days. I apply a serum, like silk therapy, while it is wet. I find that it helps my hair actually dry faster, probably because of the porosity. Not all serums are created equally. Some of them weigh hair down. The one I use doesn’t, and it also doesn’t contain pore-clogging ingredients, which is a plus (because our hair touches our face and cause acne if we aren’t careful). As for shampoo, I will use a lightweight and sulfate free shampoo for most washes, and a clarifying shampoo once or twice a month. I never brush it except for on wash days. Baby-fine bleached hair HATES being brushed when it’s dry. My detangling happens in the shower with conditioner and a wide toothed comb. I will go out in public with tangled hair before I rip my hair to shreds trying to get knots out of it while it is dry 😂 Big no-no’s are vigorous towel drying, hot tools, and combs that snag. If you’ve figured out a routine that works for you since posting your comment, I hope my reply is useful for others ❤️

I was wonder if the color tango makes the hair feel dry like the wella t18 and does it smell really strong as well?
@carradineb4 жыл бұрын
I used the color tango ct14 Champange and my hair felt softer than it did with the regular wella toners. I think it’s because it’s thick cream based and uses less developer.
@Ksbs792 жыл бұрын
It won't,it's definitely a more gentle cream color and because you mix it with 10 vol developer there it will deposit only. It's a much better option for T18.

Why didn’t it turn purple....
@hi-td7qu4 жыл бұрын
because the purple tones are meant to cancel out the brassy tones
