Considering your stance on the perimeter needs you low, its better to be small and have long reach through leaning forward with shoulders. Watch and memorize the target’s dribble habit and steal the ball when it counts

Hey EGT, I've been following for the past two seasons at least. Great work you guys have been doing helping player like myself that want to improve but have no coaches able to help us. One of the things I really struggle is in-season training, practice is obsolete, dull drills and we play 5 on 5, but we all know to get to that elite level you need to do the unseen work. I'm trying to get my team to a championship, but I really lack endurance, usually I play the 40min and man I really do feel the weight on me in those last 10min. How do I keep getting stronger in the weight room, still keep working on my in game shots and skills off-practice, and improve my endurance? Im 24 and play point guard and I tend to have tendinitis in the knee and Achilles due to overtraining. I really need to find that balance between skill work, weight room and getting some endurance while staying healthy. Can you guys help me out, any tips?

This is the challenge! Finding the right balance of training all of the components, while getting the right amount of rest to maximize performance and help prevent injury. I would encourage you to experiment with a lot of different ways of scheduling, and figure out what your body responds to the best. The problem is you may need a little extra rest each week because of your tendonitis issues. So I would direct a lot of focus to recovery (foam rolling, sleep length/quality, etc.) and also your nutrition. These are all very important when it comes to recovery and getting the body ready for the next training session... This is a loaded question so it's not a very direct answer, but I hope this helps!

@SuperiorAthletes5 жыл бұрын
Most of the time we are just simply not eating enough. Focus on your caloric intake first, get use to eating a lot and then you can focus on the quality of the food you are eating. That could be limiting the fast food, and junk food and eating more lean meat for some extra quality protein! Which is going to be important for muscle building. I hope this helps!

I can't even wrap my mind around how do y'all get a job like that... Just to know & understand what an Israelites athlete has to go through to get in shape & to maintain it... Can a elephant talk to a cheetah about speed, or can a lion talk to a cheetah about speed, or can a human talk to the Cheeto about speed... Likewise how I feel about you all trying to talk to all Israelites athletes about getting in shape... We're not the same being, cause an opposite of me... But now I know why?... E' kingdom & everythin that you speak of is always FALSE... FYI Everybody's bodies aren't the same = One pair of shoes don't fit all... Da End
