Most likely doesn’t have anything to do with that specific rock, you just have to keep your character moving at a certain distance away and that rock is a good landmark

Nothing to do with the rock. It's just being out of the zone of the other player and moving so you don't disconnect.

I was successful in the glitch, and when I was trying to reposition the treasure chest, I fell off a cliff with my horse and died.When I changed sessions, all the treasure maps were gone in the treasure map column in my bag. ,,I recently found some of them at the place where I got them, and there were about 20 of them.😭 (I did all the glitches according to the instructions)

Do maps have unlimited use? Or what happens after you "empty" the chest?

After you empty if you did it right you'll keep the map and you can hop into another session and rinse and repeat

If you do all the steps then before opening the chest change to another map then yes you can do it over and over again if you forget to switch to a new map before opening the chest you lose that map.

Just does that sometimes, not sure why. I'd recommend only doing 10 minutes at a time so if it does not spawn any gold your not wasting so much time. Also if it does this you need yo leave the area and switch server and have you friend do the same.

Something you can do is have your friend shoot you because when that happens you speed up and it makes it a lot easier

Make sure you stand over the chest to make the big yellow circle dissappear and make sure that the other person doesn't wander and that they stay close and also when you get to the Rock make sure the yellow paper with the x dissappears if it doesn't restart your game or change sessions but pull a different map up before you do so

@wilbaldwinson-sheridan9155 maybe have your buddy blow up the chest for you but make sure you go to the chest first and let the icon appear and then have them blow it up make sure the dynamite is right next to the chest if that still doesn't work make sure it's the right chest and sometimes it's buggy and try again later
