I grew up in a non-cruise control using family. I’ve done dozens of high-mile road trips, do tens of thousands of miles a year, have worked in gig economy driving jobs where I would do hours on the road at a time, always feel weird every time I decide to use it and always end up switching it off. Also have done most of that in manual transmission cars. Why yes I have chronic tendinitis and joint inflammation in both of my knees and ankles why do you ask?

Netgear needs to stop coping. As a fan of Subarus I want to support you, but the Baja is a truck shaped car. Cutting the top off the back of an outback doesn't make it a truck. Trucks are built on frames, not unibody chassis. Very few vehicles are actual trucks these days.

Maybe I'm just a barbarian that doesn't understand the finer tuning points of the Baja, but the two I drove really just felt like a lifted and less composed Legacy wagon.

@billspangler2685 sounds like even your barbarian unrefined interpretation was accurate enough to tell that having a small bed in lieu of a trunk didn't change the driving experience from a car to that of a "truck". They tend to be stiffer when unloaded as if for towing and hauling. Sluggish from a stop as if geared for torque to assist in pulling heavier objects behind them. They even come with a hitch receiver installed at the factory. I'm speculating, but I'd bet all Bajas with a hitch were installed by the owners from a kit specifically for Bajas that had a warning to not exceed the weight rating and this shouldn't be used.

The supra not having back seats is definitely a problem. I didn't think it would be then after owning one for a year i just couldn't do it anymore. Still a great car if it can fit your lifestyle.
