I was coincidentally at DisneySea on Fantasy Springs' opening day. My solution was to... not go! It was our first time at Tokyo DisneySea and it was ALL new to us. The interest in Fantasy Springs meant that the crowds everywhere else in the park were quite light. So we just had a really fun day at the park doing all the other attractions.

こんにちは　My sister visited Disney Sea and went to Fantasy Springs yesterday. I gave her some advice about how to go around the park based on your video. She got a regular ticket and she wasn’t able to get any extra paid passes, but she could ride three rides in FS. She arrived at 6:30 and entered the park around 8:30. The time Standby pass of Frozen journey was 18:30 at the time. Thanks to your information, she could enjoy a lot! Thank you very much.

I’m not good at English sorry. Standby pass in Disney Sea will not releases all day, most of them are sold out within 1hour 2hours since the park opens. But my sister said if you check it and upload the app continuously, standby pass will sometimes show up, which is the one someone canceled. My sister got two of FS by that way.

“Vacation packages are expensive”, ok, in Japan they are actually inexpensive compared to Walt Disney World prices. If they at least had availability 😂😂 I spent a week a Tokyo disneyland hotel in the beginning of may and only at that time I discovered about the expasnsion. Só when I found out I tried to book a vacation package for june, and nope, sold out lol anyway still going now on the 12th and very excited! I used A LOT your ebooks on the week I was there. Arigato gozaimasu!

I just wanted to say thank you. I was there on opening day and I thought of getting there like at 6am, but I got there at 9:40am 😅. I was able to get a standby pass to the Rapunzel ride and visited Fantasy Springs. It was probably luck because I heard a lot people couldn’t get in and they arrived super early. I had a great experience and tried amazing food like the salted raspberry ice cream. The rest of the park was empty and I was able to go on many rides that usually take no less than 45min.

Wow this is so incredibly complicated. Literally needed a visual graph! 😂 Hopefully when the hype dies down, they will open this port up just like all the other ones where anyone can come and go as they please without having to go through the Japanese algebra equations that they currently have. I think I will wait to visit until that time comes. And hopefully that is sooner rather than later.

I was doubting the whole time and i tried to get the vacation package for the fantasy springs hotel.. but waittimes were insane and i needed to start work. So after watching this video, we just decided to book vacation package 1 night at toy story. Just to make sure we got the access. I might try book 1 night at the fantasy springs hotel when 4monts booking opens.. but this is at 3 at nights for us😂😂 so fingers crossed. Thank you for all your clear explanations ❤

Was able to snatch a reservation at the Fantasy Springs hotel for August, can't wait to see if the hype is worth it 😂This way is quite cheaper than a vacation package, but very, very hard to book.

Great video! Planning to spend 1 day at DisneySea on September 4. Do you think that it will be necessary to be lined up a couple of hours before park open to secure a spot in Fantasy Springs? Will students in Japan be back to school by this date? My daughter has trouble waiting for long periods of time, so I am not sure how she will deal with waiting 2-4 hours. We went to Universal Studios Orlando in April and were able to use their “Attractions Assistance Pass”, which we were able to arrange before we went. Does Tokyo Disney have something similar and can I arrange it before the visit or do I just speak to guest services once I am there? Although not the video for it perhaps, I have similar questions about USJ, which we plan to visit on August 8. (It would be nice if the new Donkey Kong area is open by then).

With a 1-day Fantasy Spring passport from the Disney Vacation Package (staying at the Tokyo Disneyland hotel), is it possible to enter the Fantasy Spring area from the Fantasy Spring hotel side, or is entry only from the Tokyo DisneySea MiraCosta hotel side? 2. The "1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic" is only for use in the Fantasy Springs area. As part of your Vacation Package, you will have timed entry onto the attractions that you chose when booking, but the 1-Day Passport does not include other attractions at DisneySea.

also....if the standby passes are gone then don't lose all hope. i saw quite a few people reporting on reddit that they were able to get a second or maybe a first SP by refreshing the app a lot. this was on a weekday, actually on opening day. someone actually snagged one as late as 3pm i think. but thats probably very lucky if that happens, but it seems like they were releasing the SP incrementally throughout the day according to what the folks on reddit were saying. i dont know if that is still the case though or if you also heard of people getting success that way. cheers for the info dude !

Of course. They need people to queue these attractions. They are very few people staying at the two Hotels and getting the Vacation pack. Their goal is to have a 5 minutes wait to all the attractions ? No they want people to buy their freaking DPA and use the standard line. the vacation pack is a ripoff.

@@gentlemanfarmer5738 no you misunderstood my point I think. But I don't disagree about the DVP, well outta my price range. What I meant was it seems like for other rides with standby pass at Disneyland that they release all of them in the morning so when they're gone they're gone. But it seems for FS they release them every few hours incrementally so that people with regular tickets still have some chance of getting a standby pass even after all the hotel guests have gone in early and swagged em all. I could be wrong though. The DPA sell out so fast and once they're gone in my experience they never become available again. But for standby pass they seem to come available again later in the day.

With the "1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic", you get access into "Busy Buggies", but will be put into the Standby Pass line. You just need to show your ticket and wristband to the Cast Members at the entrance and they will direct you to the correct lane.

tbh tokyo disney to me looks like the best disneyparks but all of this extreme long lines, having to be there hours before it even opens, the stress about the creditcards not working.. i booked a trip and i was só excited but now i just feel bummed. but at least you can get into the fantasy springs area without any lottery? cause i know they love those too 😅😭

The level of anxiety Disney puts people into these days with new attractions and lands opening is so annoying. There's a reason I didn't go on Rise of the Resistance until 3.5 years after it opened. In the 80s and 90s we knew when a new attraction opened, we were going to have to wait in a 3-4 hour line. That's what I did for Star Tours opening, Splash Mountain opening, and Indiana Jones Adventure opening.

If my husband and I buy a premier access or a standby pass can we stay in Fantasy Springs area to eat and look around? I think its meant for crowd control especially new areas. Tokyo Disney Resort is usually very crowded and the last thing OLC wants is Fantasy Springs being overcrowded. Unlike Orlando or Anaheim, Tokyo's population itself is already huge

If your vacation package includes the "1-Day Passport: Fantasy Springs Magic", then you are guaranteed entry into Fantasy Springs and are able to leave and re-enter freely.

There are no duty free shops in Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo Disney Sea. Per the TDR FAQ: [Shops] Are tax free items available at the Parks? Items sold at the Parks are not tax free.

There’s always the parachute method. Of course, you have to be in or over Tokyo first. ;). Alternatively, submarine into Tokyo bay and tunnel in. Just like captain Nemo. ;)

They are doing the same as USJ. You need to buy extra, very expensive extra to enter Mario Land. I went there in July 2023, didn't buy anything, was at the park around 10 o'clock. It was fully packed. I got my FREE entry with the app to Mario around 12am. And during the day I checked again I was able to enter the Land twice during the evening. For Fantasy Spring. The vacation package is a ripoff. I watched a girl on youtube on opening day. She got spot at 9:30 for Rapunzel. My hopes are high as to enter Fantasy Spring with the app.

You can stay e.g. in the Toy Story hotel and have exactly the same perks. The package in question is called Fantasy Spring Enjoy Attractions.
