Must you be in school before you apply for a medical student in university of ottawa.. Like can't you apply straight from high school

Yes For Canadian schools and most American ones you need to have a at least 3 years of undergraduate experience before applying since medical school is only 4 years long rather than 6 years in most other countries

In the UOfOttawa, do I need to speak French? Do they take BNs as a prerequisite? I’m currently a nursing student.

Hey Betty, there’s both and English stream and a French stream so you would just apply to the English stream if you don’t speak French albeit the French stream is slightly easier to get into according to refit and premed101. As per your BNs I think that’s fine but I would email them in case :)

What are the requirements for an international student who wants to study medicine.

Hey! The requirements are still the same, at least 3 years of undergraduate experience but for Ottawa the MCAT is not required, hope that help :)
