so would you say it's ideal to apply in the summer of your third year or summer of your fourth year
@jayciemed25164 жыл бұрын
Definitely personal preference! It definitely takes planning to line your MCAT and application for the cycle but if you have the time, funds and you don't mind graduating early with a general degree in the event you do get accepted why not give it a shot!

So when you say full course load does it mine you have to be a full time student?
@jayciemed25164 жыл бұрын
Hey! Different schools have different definitions of what they mean by full time. For some schools that is 4 courses per semester while for others it is 5 courses. For U of T a full course load is 5 full time course equivalents (applymd.utoronto.ca/gpa-and-gpa-weighting) Id recommend checking out the website of the schools you're interested in specifically :)

I heard canadian medical schools don't accept international students. How true is that? And please if possible can you please make a video on how international students can get into canadian medical schools or if you know any Nigerian student in any medical school can you interview her? Thank you so much

For uoft , when u say full time all 4 years , do you mean atleast 5 courses/semester or 3courses/semester for full time ?
@jayciemed25164 жыл бұрын
To be eligible for the weighted GPA its 5 courses per semester (or 4 then 6 for a total of 10). Heres the most current breakdown: applymd.utoronto.ca/gpa-and-gpa-weighting

Hi Jaycie. I am registered physiotherapist in Ontario. I want to continue my career in medicine. I want to help board range of patients. I completed my bachelor in Physiotherapy 10 years back. Can I join medical course in Canada? Thank you.

Hello! I would contact the school(s) you are interested in directly via e-mail and find out if your degree fits their requirements for applications and if not, what you would need to do. Good luck! :)
