Heres the bad thing though. People only heard the music then go to the anime. Thats why alot of people feel like the anime feels too happy without earning it. Its like watching one piece with the only the backstory and then the when luffy saw the one piece. Its the cummunities responsibility to help others understand a multimedia story like this. And you are one of the biggest help in the community. Ive been with kagepro since its release in niconico douga then in youtube. I treat this franchise close to being a fanatic due to 40 percent of my childhood revolves around this project.

I think the main problem with the kagerou project is that in order to care about a specific character you have to jump into other mediums in order to get to know them better in context as the Vocaloid laid the seeds to their development and what their arc would be. But in order to get more context on them, you have to read, watch, or listen. And it would save a lot more time if it was told and neatly laid and written about in one of the mediums its told in so it would save more time and money and the viewer would still have an equally better experience if it was better planned and thought out.
@NextPlayAdventure5 жыл бұрын
The reade would then not experience the intrigue of figuring things out by thinking through and following along on their own.
@Sodota5 жыл бұрын
@@NextPlayAdventure They could by the magic of show don't tell though. But I do see what you mean. But that can also be used in the anime or manga if you correct and carefully put down clues by just showing or just by foreshadowing it in the dialogue. Like Evangelion neon genesis. That show has a lot of symbolic and foreshadowing to where it still has the intrigue of thinking what's going on and interpreting things like the characters and the ending.
@Sodota5 жыл бұрын
@YukanoChi I do see what you mean! I guess having it multi-medium or not both has its fair share of flaws when going. It just ultimately depends on how you'll write it and using it to where is lessens the flaws or rids of it altogether. And also the budget, art/animation and such that goes into the mediums, whether its multi-medium or not! (Sorry if the exclamation points sound passive-aggressive unintentually)

This question is more related to within the context of the series itself rather then a question about getting into the project, and I do apologize for its irrelevancy , but I really want to get some clarification (or at least some feedback) when it comes to this subject. That being... How did Takane and Haruka exactly get their eye abilities? I believe you've said in your retrospective that the Clearing eyes (which I will now refer to as "Saeru") tricked the daze into thinking that the mind and body of the two students were seperate and distinct entities, and that those two entities would follow the rule of the daze; which as you know, resulted into creation of Haruka's new body and Takane's computer form. Which to give props, was an amazing explanation! It gives a bit of context to how broken the daze has really become without the order of the queen (at least that's what I believe) or how much of a threat Saeru really is with his knowledge of the daze. However that does leave a few questions for me. (And this is going from what I know/seen in the Manga and Anime as well as a small bit of knowledge from the novels) Firstly, how did Saeru do all that? How did he separate the two's mind and body as two distinct entities? Did he surgically remove all the connection between the body and the mind moments before tragedy stroke? Did he destroy one moments before the other? Did he just tell his fellow snake brotherns in the daze "Hey dude, bro, dudessss, i found two two-for-one sales, you wanna have them?" And even then it still raises a bigger question, how did Takane and Haruka return to their original state? For Haruka, I can sorta see why, the dan gets him back at the end of MCA (As much as I'd like reject the anime and wish it was non-canon), But I don't get how Takane gets her own body back; if we're going off from my first point and the rule of the daze, then shouldn't her body supposed to be swallowed and lost in the daze?? Because she retains her memory even after she becomes Ene, which makes me believe that her eye ability was given to her mind and her body was taken as a sacrifice for her eye ability. So how did Saeru keep her body in tact? I could ask more about this, but I believe I've asked enough to a point where its not too complicated for answer/give feedback (I hope). And again this is going off from what I know or seen from the Manga and Anime, so if there are some things that are off, please let me know!
@BreadBoxVideo5 жыл бұрын
To my furthest knowledge all of those are simply put just plot holes. There really isn't an explanation as to why Takane and Haruka do that, especially in the manga 2 timeline in which Haruka and Takane die of natural causes and not due to the clearing eyes. It is something that is unfortunately never explained,
@nicolasvignolo76015 жыл бұрын
I read a theory once that said that you don't need to die with someone else to enter the kagerou daze, you just enter it if you are compatible with an eye ability, that would make a lot of sense and it would explain why ayano can enter alone and all the takane and haruka stuff, specially in manga 2
