My take is, you should concentrate on engaging users and building an interested user base. Your 1st channel has specific design videos for specific audience. Your 2nd channel has varied kind of videos but the some videos have way more views than the others. Build content which people want to see more. Check your analytics also. Focus on a specific subject and not scattered topics.
