both you go to your home screen until both of you are kicked best way to know is to be communicating with your friend or just sit there on your home screen for about 5 to 8 minutes

if you want to have the swat symbol on it then you have to be the 4th or 3nd if noose symbol then the host or second just so you know if your the second or fourth person to join you wont get the helmet
