Another great video. Alvin doesn't miss much, sharp as a tack. Could you pass on to Alvin that the Mark from Australia was impressed that he wound the Telfon tape on the sump plug the correct way so it does unravel when you screw the plug in.

@jeffhildreth9244 1 second ago Jack stands 7:45 Last week while jacking up my 63 MGB to adjust the e brake cable... the jack stand snapped and dropped. Luckily we had the jack still in place. The damn pin broke. I think I will contact Harbor Fright and see what's up.

With 15w-40 you really don’t need the extra zinc (zddp). If you were using a Pomo then yes on the zinc.

Do you have a bypass oil resevoir fitted and if so drain it. All this is easier with a lift which are easily put in most garages.

Did you heat up the oil by running the motor for 15 min do thin any gunk?

I guess that using a sports car as a tourer must be a logistical problem worse than taking a pushbike, can you take more that two sets of underwear?

Ha! It's no trouble with two people and their luggage. We take 3-day trips a couple of times a year.

How do I determine engine make on a morgan? engine number is TS522 FR.

The Triumph engines that Morgan used had an “M” stamped as part of the engine number.

I use Valvoline Racing Oil in the modified Kent in my Series V 4/4. It contains all th vitamens and dinosaurs a good oil should have. I would advise not doing this work with someone standing by and kibbitzing. Distracting and inefficient. Work alone. You can always call your mechanic.
