j miller​​ I have an easier time getting out of rear chokes because I find leverage is easier to achieve and being able to lock there fingers and throw them hard. But a fully locked side headlock full force is a nightmare for me. I think it's because I tend to relax in that position to easily then it's no escape.

In my opinion these are some of the worst ways to escape a headlock. Jiu-jistu is a better skill than wing chun.

Thanks master wong. Nice variation of this is to reach round the neck with fingers and sweep the leg while pulling the head back. I've used this with much taller opponents and it's quite effective.

Master Wong, while I enjoy your videos very much, I would really like to see some finishing moves. Not killing blows, of course. Here, you show us how to choke, but what then? What could one possibly do AFTER the choke? I mean you can choke him until he loses his consciousness, but what else? My teacher showed us some take-downs, after choking the man, you pull him towards the ground and strike him with the fist. Stuff like that, you know? Would really appreciate if you did some examples of these kinds of finishing moves. Just to make sure the bastard will lose his desire to fight me any further.

Oliver Barrows Yes but the thing is that isn't very practical if that person is stronger than you or weighs a lot more. That only really works if they are lighter.

And in a real situation nothing is stopping the attacker from getting up and attacking again. Properly executed and manipulative techniques like THIS will most of the time make the attacker second guess whether he really wants a 'Poblem' with you or not (if you haven't choked him out already.)

He's stretching his jaw muscles to bring his chin lower and tightening his neck to make a choke MUCH harder to apply.
